Glee! [merged]

Well...that was another disappointing and annoying episode. You bring in the new guy who had a pretty good voice, and you auto-tune the shit out of it. I don't recall Damian ever being able to do falsetto in the competition.

Then the story with Brittany is just getting old. It isn't funny to me anymore, it is like my Grandpa telling the same joke over and over.

Agreed. Brittany's used to be just stupid enough to be funny, but now it's just sad. I mean- a Leprechaun, really? REALLY? A new episode of "Fondue For Two" would have been a lot funnier.

And speaking of Leprechauns, when did Rick Astley join the cast of Glee? I liked his version of "It Isn't Easy Being Green", but I was so disappointed when he didn't sing "Never Gonna Give You Up". Maybe he's saving it for the finals?

And the ratings show that people are giving up on Glee...

If they don't get some good writers on the show fast it will have at most 1 more season...

uggggh...it just annoys me to no end that like the main plot of the series is "Oh the Glee club has no money...Sue's so mean and cuts our budget." yet they have new shiny costumes, props, rain, baby grands, back up singer/dancers, a jazz band always on hand...

I also hate what they are doing to Blaine...what the fuck was he wearing last night? And when are they gonna kill off Kurt....that would be the best episode ever...throw Finn in there too

Honestly, I think Kurt is the least of their problems... in fact, he's one of the few characters I still like. Blaine, on the other hand... ugh.

It's very unfortunate what happened to Glee. I really enjoyed it, but people started complaining everywhere, so they tried to change a bunch of things and now it's boring. Being crazy and twisted is not necessarily a bad thing when you have continuity. That's what people were talking about - lack of continuity, not abundance of personality!

The only thing that could save this show, in my view, is a new pilot. Introduce the new kids in the second half of this season (with subtle hints of what's to come), graduate the old ones in the end, then open the 4th season with a kick-ass premiere, showing a new dynamic and getting the viewers excited about it.

Unless that happens, this will probably be my last season watching this show. It doesn't even feel like a Ryan Murphy show anymore. But now there's American Horror Story, so I'm not even sad. :)

Well, the jazz band is comprised of students, so they don't get paid. The baby grands were donated by Sugar's dad. I'm pretty sure most of the props were bought a long time ago, and the backup singers/dancers are just the members of New Directions and the football team. As for the costumes, maybe Rachael and Kurt make them? So aside from the costumes, there really isn't that much money being spent on New Directions.

^^ On top of which, how sure can we be an outfit is real? There's a whole plethora of examples of the showing doing "make believe inside reality" Take the singing in the halls for example. No one else seems to ever notice the singing, because they're not ACTUALLY singing in the halls. On some occasions I think the costume, the fake rain (on umbrella/singing in the rain) are more imagined. I find it easy to assume that if a song takes place on stage in the auditorium, but we never see an audience just the performance, it may not necessarily be "real".

Its a television show. Suspend your disbelief. no one wants to see them in dirty old rags.

This episode was just bad all over. I watched it and I just felt dirty after. I feel like a broken record but the writers ALL need to work together and not have each one write an entire episode. This show won't last past this season if they can't get their writers all on the same page.

I thought the new Irish guy was really cute, but seeing him getting bullied really irritated me. The remainder of the episode was a bit bland for me.

This episode sucked.

Damian (the Irish) was cute at first but then really annoying (why the fuck was he smiling all the time?)

Kurt's dad running against Sue and all that political crap is just boring, who gives a shit?

Songs were meh. Blaine got yet another solo. Ugh.

Brittany's stupidity can be cute but can become a pain in the ass when it's overdone (like in this episode).

The show is getting boring. They are just relying on bringing in new characters to make the show interesting (which in my opinion is a sucky way to do it). Just take a look at Tina/Artie, they are now even worse off than Santan/Brittany when they first started. Just a couple of lines here and there and that's it. And this season's the song choices haven't been amazing. And I do not like the Glee Project kids coming in. Focus on the existing characters. Make them useful and give them interesting storylines. It's like these characters stopped to develop and faded into the background. Sometimes I wonder what show am I actually watching. So many new characters popping up here and there. At this rate, I won't be surprised this show will get cancelled by the end of season 3.

It took me starting the show 3 times to get through it - I kept falling asleep. This last episode was so dull - and the songs sucked.

Bringing back Sam shows how they realize they are loosing viewers.

And I am glad they are bringing him back - I will keep watching to see what they do with him - but if not for that I might give up at this point.

The good: Mike and Beiste's storylines were great, as well as *spoiler*Karofsky's*spoiler*appearance at the gay bar. No "vote for Sue" silliness or "Rick Astley Jr. is a leprechaun" stupidity.

The bad: All the awkward talk about sex and virginity. The even more awkward scenes of sex that followed.

The ugly: As if the Blaine/Kurt relationship doesn't get enough drama and attention, they add an interloper into the mix. Worse, he doesn't take no or "I have a boyfriend" for an answer. Please, please, let him get hit by a bus.
