Well I finally caught up with all of the shows since I had a nice 3 day weekend. I have to say I am disappointed with the show again. I have always been a big fan, and have download a few songs. The storyline of Finn and Rachel wanting to get married is just stupid as hell. The songs haven't been that great. Once again they are letting Artie sing a lot of songs, I just think that he isn't that great.

Also, they let Mike sing. What the hell? He has done interviews where he said that he can't sing, so they are autotuning the shit out of him.

I just want to say I called it. See kids, writing drama is actually quite easy. How the show's writers fail so much at it is thought-provoking.
 
Just watched the lastest episode of Glee and it sucked, I'm so sick of Kurt ,Blaine Rachel, and Finn, Those story lines are so stupid, and the songs sucked.Oh and that suicide story Mr Schuester told about cheating was from the movie the breakfast club, I think I;m going to stop recording this crap.
 
To be honest I like the musical performances on Glee but the story has gone down the toilet. What are the writers thinking? I hope it gets better soon.

Not even proficient, Amber Riley's Spanish sounded better than Naya's.

Now about this last episode, I liked it. Songs for Regionals weren't that great but I still enjoyed the episode, I really really liked how they handled Karofsky and his attempted suicide. Don't know if that many real life bullies watch the show to see what their actions might lead to, but still, it's good they touched that subject.

Quinn's accident was very predictable, I knew it the minute I saw her in that car. I'm pretty sure it's just something to shock us and she'll probably be fully recovered in an episode or 2.

On and I found out via Twitter that Naya will be singing Fighter by Christina Aguilera on the April 10th episode, yeaahh! (!)

people are saying they don't like glee for its writing, tbh i don't really watch it for the story, i watch it for the eye candy and the singing, some of the stories are touching, the whole santana coming out story was a bit eye watering, especially when her abuela (sorry for the spelling) told her to get out after santana came out, so sad, and the awkward buildup is like real life :/
 
i do agree that some of the songs this series are not that great, but i love some of the mashups, i think the troubletone's songs are some of my favs, glad you came and stand were good too, but with the story, it seemed to improve when the whole santana thing came up, but prior to that, it seemed really dark especially with mr schue pressuring mercedes into that full on dancing, just seemed mean, and the whole quinn thing did shock me, but waiting until april tenth to find out?, its going to make it a big anticlimax, should have done like a 2 week break... and one final thing, is it just me, or does it seem like new directions are just not trying as hard to win these days?

i used to watch ugly betty religiously but then it went from E4 or C4 in the uk, to sky, and well, i dont have sky, but glee is still on in the uk, but if i cant wait i watch it online, ugly betty has been on too long to catch up now anyways, sorry betty just sold out to someone who is beyond my reach

What killed Ugly Betty was what kills most sitcoms, stale plot and static characters. Pretty much the premise of every show was: 'Daniel gets in trouble and Betty bails him out with Willhemina being a conniving bitch and other various static subplots'.

PS: just realized this topic was bumped for over a year.

You have to watch more than two minutes to know there is some great writing on the show. Id like to see what you could do when you have to work around popular songs.
 
I'm sadly watching the new episode while eating dinner atm and OMG it's SOOOO bad. As I said, there's camp and then there's cheesy. This is the latter.
 
I thought Matt Bomer did really good on the show last night...he was funny and over the top...but not horrible like some other guest stars.

everything else about the episode was horribly cheesy
 
Last night was one of the worse episodes I ever watched, not funny at all. The storylines are so dull, and I'm sick of Kurt, Blaine and the guy in the wheel chair who gets to sing every week
