Colbert has been giving Beck hell for a while now. For good reason though, I agree with you---Beck is a tool. He's also a big phoney.

How do you know he's a phoney? Sources? And if you guys don't like him just don't watch. There are plenty in the media I don't like, so I don't waste any of my time bitching about them. Novel idea, I know.

So judging from this thread and your Michelle thread your focus and criteria for popularity seems to be looks and style (over substance). Why am I not surprised? Why worry about Glenn Beck? I assume you don't watch a lot of FNC. And if you do, you can change the channel at 5pm.

I don't care for Kevin Olberman, but I just don't watch him...and rarely waste any time talking about him. Maybe you guys should try that sort of thing sometime, might make you less angry.

I think he's one of the best reality shows on TV.

Oh, I'm sorry, when you called him a "Tool" I figured it was a term of derision. I didn't realize that you were using tool in the traditional sense....as in Dewalt or Craftsman. It's all very clear now. Thanks.

Actually with both individuals I talked about their attractiveness and substance. Back has neither.

It's a well known secret that if you threw 2x the amount of money at some of these Fox guys, they'd be pontificating liberalism within the year. They are glorified salesmen.

Glenn Beck is one of the cooler commentators on the right. And Colbert is a shallow ass who's comic depth is apparently limited to cheerleader for the left.

Colbert has more talent in his butt lint, than Beck has in his entire body.

There is nothing cool about Glenn Beck. He's embarrassing to watch.

He appeals to a great many Americans that are not pleased with the direction Mr. Obama is moving the nation especially the economy. Few media sources will lend doubt to the Obama's lead and therefore, Beck, has found a huge audience. The numbers that doubt the country's direction grows daily.....just ask the growing number of unemployed out there. Obama is pushing fear to push through an agenda while getting a backlash from the slumping economy and it's victims.

Like Beck or not, he has an audience and it WILL grow.

I'm pretty sure your last sentence is a non sequitur. Or is this just another one of my idiotic conclusions? (In other words...why complain about my questions? Just answer them or ignore them. LostLover you are tripping..LOL...I listened to Glen on the radio before CNN-Headline News made him a TV-Star. Glen LOVES the sound of his own voice. Most radio jocks do but Glen Loves to talk for 3hrs and he'll give his callers a few minutes of air-time. Glen is the FIRST Radio Host that can just talk non-stop for hours. I always felt his radio show was just a platform for people that think like he does and Love nothing more than the sound of Glen's voice.

Glen is a recovering alcoholic and I knew years ago that he had mental problems. I don't dislike Glen because from time to time he'll make some great points. I just have issues with tuning into a Radio host that can talk non-stop the ENTIRE show..I don't tune in like I use to because there's another daytime Radio-station that broadcasts Black Liberal jocks that think like i think...LOL..Glen is Drama and NOBODY does Drama & Entertainment better than the Republicans..

I believe FOX News agents began sucking his Dick when they learned his CNN contract renewal was in negotiations. FOX gave Glen an offer he couldnt refuse and the FOX Republican family is the best place for him to be free...You'll NOTICE Glen NEVER trashes his time with CNN...Why? yeah everything seemed like he was trying too hard. whether he takes himself seriously on the radio is a seperate issue, I've found that he generally comes across as genuine. There, he seemed like he was acting more. Seemed less comfortable in his own skin. Then again, he also didn't have as much of that sarcasm and wit that I'm used to enjoying on his radio show.
