Sadly, with Glenn Beck, this will be his thing until he discovers lint in his belly button, or an ingrown toenail that he's neglected for too long.

At least the douchbag "Lou Dobbs" (CNN) has been able to blame "illegal aliens," and "immigration," and "Mexicans" (even though he's married to a Latina) for the ills that effect us.

From watching Glenn Beck, his attention span isn't that long.

MLS, if you've ever noticed whenever you back a wingnut into a corner with facts, figures, quotes, cites, etc..... they always end up replying that "well I'm sure I could find proof that refute what you say". They say that about global warming, about economics, evolution, torture, and anything else.

If you'll also notice just here on this forum alone, do a quick check and find how many "liberals" like myself and Alfie provide links, cites, and quotes vs. the virtually non-existent proof provided by the right wing nuts.

Why? Because they are intellectually lazy. If it's not spoon-fed to them on FAUX news they have no clue where they stand. If Glenn Beck says it, they believe it. It's tragic really.

I've noticed that in many cases this happens and not to say it doesn't happen with some on the left as well but from my experience of being on this site for a couple years now it's mostly from the right. This, among other things is why I've decided to weigh in on these discussions rather than just read like I have in the past.

No, at Fox you see images of people carrying monkey effigies. You see them questioning his birthplace. You can see them carrying ropes and guns as if to "lynch" him. That's what you see on Fox especially on tyeabagging days. You see them calling him a terrorist, baby killer, they call out "kill him", etc.....
Oh but yes they do. They are even worse than Keith. Hey, somebody has to call out O'Reilly, Beck and Hannity. Not many people have the balls.

He was not reporting a story. He was not reporting a protest. He purposely used that footage to project his opinion. NO facts, no nothing.

The people at Fox organized tea parties and other events like those. They were endlessly plugging it and just called it "news". That wasn't a grassroots movement, it started at the top.

I'd like to know if anyone who just thinks Keith and Rachel are horrible journalists and spew bullshit happened to watch Rachel's show last night and her interview with Tom Ridge. I'm curious as to what you think. How she handled the interview. Do you agree with her stance? Do you think she provided enough facts for her argument?

And I'm still waiting for someone, ANYONE to give me specific examples of when Keith or Rachel has not backed up their segments with facts. Cite something.

I can sit here and say all day that Dick Cheney doesn't give a fuck what America thinks but that doesn't make it right. But wait, I can say that since I can provide a link to his response when asked about what the majority of Americans thought about the war in Iraq.

I'm glad to see cites. I appreciate that. I'm all for someone making a statement and backing it up.
Although I still do not agree that it is outrageous because it is based on events that actually occurred. Blatanty lying about going to war and causing American deaths is murder by all means. If Bush and Cheney were right and they did find WMD's, etc. I might not be so critical cause they could have backed up why they went in the first place. But alas, they cannot. If Obama lied about a war and was not forthcoming I'd be just as pissed off and I'd call him a murderer as well.

Also, if two graphics of "American Torturers" and "Getting Away with Murder" is the only supposed "outrageous" things Keith has done on his show, then there really is NO comparison to those on FOX News.
