Ya know....

I suppose I wouldn't mind it if the games lasted an hour or maybe two....

But, saints preserve us ! They last three and a half, sometime FOUR hours
at a time !!!

And guess what ? This is just the beginning !! Only FOUR more months and about
600 more games to go ! :help:

Hay it's O K I'm gay and love football. Just think of it as war games. Touchdown is sucessful invasion, Passing is ariel bombardment, and running is ground aaasult. And it all takes planning and training. The ass pats are always nice too.
 
I don't understand why gay guys have such a hard time with sports? I mean, your still a guy, arn't ya? I'm not saying everyone has to like football (USA) or even a sport. It just seems like too many gay guys arn't into sports and this freaks me out! I'm happy games last so long, I'd be pissed if it was changed.

For some reason many gay guys seem to take great pride in not liking sports, as if were something only straight people should participate in or watch.

I love hockey, baseball, football, golf and tennis... oh... and I DON'T like musicals!

(I hope no one revokes my Gay Pass! hehe)
 
I'm with joshy on this one.

I don't mind being physical. I like soccer & volleyball & kayaking & biking. I wouldn't mind wrestling with a cute guy. Physicality is fun!

But sitting there and watching someone else do it . . . . for 4 hours . . . . just bores me out of my wits.
 
I love going to a football (American) game. Basketball, biking, swimming, etc. I prefer to be there watching the game instead of watching it on TV though. Hook 'em Horns!

And about fuckin' time!!! I've been goin' out of my mind for the last six months just waiting for the start of the new NFL season! (!)
 
I love watching football come this fall season-especially college football. It's an extra plus if the guys (1) are super hot with hot bods which a TON are and (2) those tight tight tight uniforms!!
 
My bigest gripe about pro sports is the amount of money the players are paid, more than some countries. But when it comes time to build a new stadium or arena its the tax payers that fund it! ](*,) I can understand the fun of attending a sporting event, heck I've even been to a Mariners game and they suck! But I can't understand watching it on TV for 4 to 6 hours.
 
I agree, I absolutely hate football. It is nothing but organized violence. I just totally ignore it. What I really resent is when football intrudes on the regular time schedules. It's bad enough it last 3 or more hours but when it runs overtime and interrupts scheduled programming that's when I'm really pissed. And this happens all the time. I'm forever missing stuff or missing the ending of a show I've recorded because the fucking football ended late. It always ends late, it always runs overtime. They know it's going to run late so why in the hell can't they just start it earlier so it's over on time?ARRRGGGGGGH! :grrr: :mad: :grrr: :mad:

Sterotypes be damned, I know a lot of gay men like football... But, sadly I
just don't get it. Don't get me wrong, you could do a lot worse than staring
at all those hot quarterbacks in their tight white pants all night, but I just
don't get the excitement of it all.

If anything, I suppose I'm a bit envious.

I'm amazed that this game gets So many people excited that litterally thousands of people jump to their feet in sheer joy, shouting with unbridled
glee and screaming at the top of their lungs... I'd like to be a part of that.

All I see is is guys running into each other and trying to throw a ball.

I'm just a little sad that I cannot root for the Cowboys until Jerry Jones and his demon acquisition, Terrell Owens are swallowed up by the earth. Until then, all I can do is root for the Texans. Hopefully it'll get better this time around.

And Drops of Jupiter? I'll watch your back if you watch mine. Someone's bound to take my gay card too as I can't dance. ;)
