Believe it or not there are straight guys who don't care if someone is gay or straight and will be friends w/ them. Try asking him out to coffee, a drink, or whatever. See if he will go someplace for something to eat where you might get a chance to talk more.

Try finding out where he likes to go when not in school. I know when I was still somewhat coming out and I met guys that I thought were gay (turns out my gaydar was pretty good), I usually asked where they liked to go. If they told me "Cobalt" or "Apex" or one of the other DC gay clubs, I could then feel more comfortable about opening up. Try asking him if he's dating anyone...that may be a conversation starter.

If he's not dating anyone, ask what type of people he likes (don't limit it to guys or girls -- let him make that choice). Heck, see what television channels he likes. If you have Logo -- pretty good chance he might be gay. Gee...I feel like Jeff Foxworthy:

-- If you like to go to a club where guys dance with other guys and girls other girls...you might be gay.
-- If you watch the Logo channel and use it instead of porn...you might be gay.

mostly about music (thats our most common topic) it was real good and he was waiting for his friend to give him a ride and so thats preety much it

It might be a good idea to offer help with his homework in a coffee shop or somewhere (if you had any homework in a class you attended together). I'd say that since he marked his orientation as "not sure" there's a good chance he might be into guys.

But I stick by what the others said. Take it slow, he might get scared away. If he does, that doesn't mean that you're a bad person, it just happens sometimes!

but ive given up on him it just doesnt seem like we can get that spark going

ok so i finnaly seen him again after like weeks of missing him in classs we were working on our lil inclass projects together at one point i just was staring at him and the teacher noticed lol
so after class wa sover we talked about music the only thing we can talk about freely is music lmao we are really good in that sense everything else is kinda hum drum
