It's not the guys, it's the 80s hair and the soft filter. Plus, those photos are so airbrushed that they don't look real. Like Josher said, they look plastic. Take all that away, especially the over-coiffed hair, and these guys would probably be pretty hot by today's standards. We just have different tastes when it comes to photography these days.
