Just got a 360 recently, but I only have 3 games for it, Forza Motorsport 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Two Worlds.

I need to get some input about some good games to get. Am already planning on getting GH3, Oblivion, and Mass Effect.
 
Burnout Paradise is a good demo, the game should be cool as well. Guitar Hero 2 is cool.
 
My "games-worth trying" list contains:

PS- Oblivion is a fantastic game, but it's not in my list because of how much better it is on PC ;)
 
Have just rented Bioshock and the latest Kingdom Under Fire game, so will wait and see.

Have heard great things about both Assasins Creed and Orange Box, as well as Dead Rising.

Played GoW on my buddies 360 a while back, and wasn't impressed.


I should note that I don't have x-box live, and probably won't get it for awhile, so any good single player/co-op games worth suggesting besides those mentioned?

WOW!!! thats pretty much the games I own for the 360, well that and halo 3.
 
If you like Two Worlds, you probably go loopy for Oblivion. They've just released a 'full' version, with Oblivion and all its add ons. Bioshock it great but short, Gears of War is great, and DOA4 and Vrtua Fighter 5 are great smack em ups. and Burnout Paradise is ace.
 
Beaten Bioshock yesterday, taken me between 8-9 hours. VERY short storyline, although the characters are colourful, and it's a great way to up your Gamers Score.

BTW, what is Blue Dragon?(genre, plot, etc)
 
Marvel is fun, especially if you download the new Heroes and Villains pack (Heroes: Hawkeye, Hulk, Colossus, Cyclops. Villains: Sabertooth, Magneto, Dr. Doom, Venom.)

Mass Effect seems like an alright game, but I'm having a really hard time being drawn into it. Perhaps the differences between it and KOTOR are just really glaring to me, considering KOTOR was at the top of my XBOX Pantheon.

I also hear good things about Assassins Creed, as well as Oblivion, and when the money presents itself, I will buy them.

Dead Rising as some good following behind it, but apparently has a non-HD Flaw that makes it hard for us normal people without HD to read the writing on the screen. Oh well...
 
Sounds interesting, Might just rent it next week.

Well, I'm just going to name out the games that I have picked up and loved to death. So sorry if there are repeats but with the xbox 360 and online play...you can't go wrong with the following games....

1. Halo 3

2. The Orange Box (contains Half Life 2, episode one, episode two, team fortress 2 and portal)

3. Call of Duty 4

4. Mass Effect

5. Rainbow Six : Vegas (number two comes out in 3 weeks. One hellva single player storyline!)

6. RockBand

7. Shadowrun (not for everybody...you love it or hate it. Course it's an online game only! :( )

8. Gears of War

9. Condemned: Criminal Origins (oh god, is this game freaky! like Resident Evil on crack! Number 2 comes out later this year!)

10. ChromeHounds (a unique, build your own mech and kill things game. Once again, you like or hate it!)

11. Marvel Ultimate Alliance (get the gold edition!!)

12. Assassin's Creed (another you like or hate title...it does look amazing though!)

13. Dead Rising (one mall, one you. millions of zombies!)

14. Call of Duty 2 (the best world war 2 fps ever!)

15. Crackdown (cops meets heroes!)

16. Earth Defense Force 2017 (game doesn't have fancy graphics or even a good story! But you and a friend go co-op and kill the giant bugs, robots and spaceships, well fighting godzilla like monsters. Blast when you've had some drinks as well! :) )

17. F.E.A.R. (your not afraid of the dark are you? or a little girl in a red dress that burns things? ;) )

18. The Darkness (not bad...good single player game. online sucks though. worth a rental!!)

Anyways there's others like the Dynasty Warriors series but I don't really know your tastes. There are some hidden gems out there that you may like but didn't sell well (area 51 anybody?) So rent and explore! :D
