I'm really not very good when it comes to letting another guy know that I'm interested in him. What are good opening lines to use to break the ice? Thanks for the help guys!

Do you have a page on MySpace or Facebook? Would you like a space on MyFace?

Hmmm...doesn't look like there are any chairs left...mind if I sit on your face?

I'm a fan of Star Wars...want to see my light sabre?

Actually, I usually just approach people and smile, make some light talk about the crowd and then introduce myself. Usually you can get the feeling if more conversation is wanted or not. Now I have been taken back a couple times when the guy looked back at me after the intro and replied, "You wanna fuck?" Fortunately I did not have a mouthful of drink or I'd have spit it out!

I could never be that up front!

...but I bet you did want to fuck. And I bet you did fuck. See how that works? :)

The basic idea in conversation is to:

1. look for common ground
2. ask questions based on that common ground

When you meet someone (at a bar, say), that's your common ground. You're both at a bar. So ask questions. "I've never been to this bar - is it always this loud/crowded/dead?" "That's an interesting drink you're having. What is it?" "Is the music like this every day of the week?" "Are there other good clubs in this area?" His answers will give you jumping-off points for further conversation.

"last summer I killed a male prostitute under the tuscan sun, cut him up and stored him in my Fridge, and served his liver with a nice red wine to my mother...would you like to come home with me tonight?"

When a guy told me that my drawls dropped to the floor!!

It always works with me. !oops!!oops!!oops!!oops!

I'm approached more often than not.

If after an extended "eye sex" session he still doesn't come over I would then go over and say "hey" or something like that.

There's nothing to it... really the eye contact is the beginning everything else is simple.

you dont need to have a book of pick up lines all you need is to have social skills and you will do fine!

With you I did not have to spit! Ha! Plus you were so shy and cute the way you did it...how could I resist!?!

I don't remember there being much chit-chat before hand--you are such a great kisser.

I'm back and fourth on one liners. I'm a very joking guy, I'll probably joke with the the guy if it's a stranger.

I prefer to meet people through friends though to be honest.
