woah, they made a playstation 2? I'm still pimpin with my pst 1 and super nintendo, on which i play cool spot~ (and ive got a ps3, just thought id throw that in so you didnt think i was crazy)

That just makes you more crazy.

Mind you, I've got a sega megadrive, but that was the best console known to man, so meh. Still haven't got my hands on my three favourite games though.

Playstation 2 really wasn't all it was cracked up to be, it seems. Though its graphics were great, it suffered from a lack of notable and long-running games. Still my list is:

1) We <3 Katamari
2) FF XII
3) X-Men Legends
4) FF X

The PS2 isn't quite dead yet. Just recently Odin's Sphere came out, and I have to say it's one of the best games to come out on PS2 in a long while. It is on it's way out though, as SOny needs to do some serious work on games for the PS3 to make it worth the hefty price tag.

Here's my list:
Fav games: either of the Katamari games, and FFX
Least Fav: FFXII (what a piece of crap that game was)
Oh My god moment: The FMV in FFX where Sin attacks the first time. I was floored with the graphics at the time.

Systems I currently own: Sega Genesis with original Sega CD, Turbo Express (Turbografx-16 portable), Sega Game Gear, Gameboy (original), Game Boy Advance, GBA SP, Sega Dreamcast, PS2, PSP, DS, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii

Systems I owned but got rid of: Sega Master System, NES, Super Nintendo, Atari Lynx, Atari Jaguar, Turbografx-16 with Trubo CD, Sega Saturn

Favorite Games: FFX, GTA3, MGS3, KH2, Silent Hill 2, Devil May Cry, Rachet and Cla-oh I could go on.
Least favorite game: Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. Very dissapointing for a TR game.
SHOCK MOMENT: Yuna's dress in FFX-2! What the hell!
Weirdest Moment: ICO. The entire game was just weird.

Favourite game(s): Any of the GTA games, any Gran Turismo, the EA NHL games and (apparently I'm the only one who enjoyed it) Twisted Metal Black. eeeee.

My PS2 started skipping the games. I got pissed off eventually and made the biggest mistake: trading it in for an XBOX. Not that I hated XBOX, but I loved my PS2 WAY more, at least as far as the games went.

I loved getting drunk and playing NHL with my buddies. SOOO good. I still like their controllers best out of any system... maybe that's just me.

But yeah, excellent console.

Haven't bought any of the "new gen" consoles yet. They all have games that I'd love to own but it's WAY too much to own all 3.

Favorite Games- The Legacy of Kain Series( Including Legacy of Kain-Defiance and Soul Reaver 1 and 2), Blood Rayne, Drakkan, Baldurs Gate, X-men Legends 1 and 2, God of War, Psi-Ops, Destroy all Humans, Tomb Raider Legend and finally, Tomb Raider Anniversary.

Least favorite: the plethora of crappy movie tie-in Games( with the exception of Spiderman 2)

The ps2 era isn't over yet.

My favorites would have to be Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, Guitar Hero, X-men Legends, Burnout, DJ: fight for NY, Resident Evil, The Suffering, Prince of Persia. I know there are some I am missing but those are a few I liked.

Ok...My all time favorite game for the ps2 was Kingdom hearts 1. ALL of the boss fights were amazing and memorable. I personally love a game with good bosses...so this sold it for me.

other good ones were Socom 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, FFX(even though it was short and most of the bosses were lame), and Karaoke Revolution

Worst game? Sonic Riders *barfs*

Favorite Ps2 moment? Both are from Kingdom Hearts...one was " HOLY SHIT I'm FIGHTING JAFAR!!!!" or " HOLY SHIT, I'm fighting the Ice Titan (which in my opinion was harder then sepheroth)

wow moment : the open credit of final fantasy game, it is so beautiful
hate game: spider-man movie game, it sucks.

Wow...scratch that...I totally forgot...the absolute BEST Ps2 game is battle Stadium D.O.N. Its like super smash bros...but with dragonballz, naruto, and one peice characters....its only in japan tho...but i imported it...i was playing it when I made my post and I was like...wait a minute...hahahaha

Favorite Games: Kingdom Hearts and SSX3.
Least favorite game: Any Need for Speed game! Scratch that, I just remembered a low budget game called Oni and that was by far the worst PS2 game I've played...I think.
SHOCK MOMENT- To be honest, the first 10 minutes of Kingdom Hearts blew me away when I saw it - there was nothing like that at the time...picking a wand, a sword or shield, talking about staying away from the darkness. It was just so engulfing at the time!

You play PS1, didn't know about PS2, but bought PS3. Didn't you think that there was something in the middle?!
