I am invited and should be able to give out invitations soon. However for the whole day it told me that the servers are too stressed right now for me to log in.

Google + was open for a short Time, but I dont get it why I should register for that? What is it good for? Collecting more User Data maybe.

no - but your name and profile is revealed, and you "follow" the person.

^ those are the new invites that only send an e-mail. the old invites also shared something with you, thus once you logged in you have a notification with the link to that.

as for the guy where you know that you registered .. did you go to circles and "find people"?

they changed it when you got unlimited invites.

the thing is that when people sign up they still need to have a gmail address. so you will not find them under their old address my bf created a gmail address just for this, and now i have him under his new address and g+ keeps suggesting him to me under his old address

It's probably because it's so easy to add people without their approval so your circle of friends grows even if they themselves don't add you.

hu? yeah you can add about anyone without their consent. but that doesn't mean *anything*. adding someone only means that they can ready *your* content if you publish it to this circle. so if someone adds you, he can still not read anything from you that you didn't make public. you need to add him for this. and then he needs to be in a circle that you included for the post.
also people cannot see which circle they are in. that helps against the "xy wants to add me, but i can't stand him and he isn't really a friend but i don't want to be rude" dilemma. just add them to a circle that you never publish stuff too
