Everything I try to translate now comes up with this message link that takes me to Google's translation page. Any suggestion? Rebooting didn't work. Neither did uninstall/reinstall. Note the link destination on the Status Bar as the bottom of the image.

I've been having the same problem of late. I didn't know it was anything do with Google.... It will work just once, then thereafter, it will throw that hissy fit about being too long, even if I just highlight 1 word.

It has to be an incompatibility problem with some recent Moxilla FF update I reckon...

^ Nothing has changed on my end. No updates. No installations. I used Globefish several times each day. I never got the Google rerouteing until this afternoon.

BTW, Click on Tools > Add-Ons to get FF to show you your add-ons. Find Globefish 1.3.2 and then the "more" link. Click on that, and the author tells you he's aware of the problem.

It seems to have been 'last updated' 12 Nov 2011.

It's a front-end using google's api iirc, and google has decided to charge for use of it's translation service when accessed by means other than google.

Sooooo, just use google translate. ..|

Thanks for the info. I don't have a 'more' link, though. I'll have to take your word for it. ..|
