The two party system arose because of opportunists; it isn't as if the two-party system is a constitutional requirement.

As much as I'd like to see the two-party system morph into a four-party system, the Libertarians need to get their act together if they're supposed to be the counterpart to the Greens on the right...

The GOP is definitely wise to think that they need to throw all of their energy into Ohio. People here are fed-up with just about everyone we have in power. They've been driving Ohio into the ground and it's finally become too much and even the most devout Republicans are questioning who they'll vote for. It's no longer about Democrat vs. Republican, it's about getting the current people out, putting new people in, and hoping they work out better. Unfortunately for the GOP, most of our leaders in Columbus and Washington are their own kind.

The real race in Ohio is the governor's race. The Blackwell vs. Strickland TV ads are already getting vicious and it isn't even October yet. So far, Strickland has been able to hold on to the lead he gained early on, but Blackwell and his supporters will stop at nothing.
