The posterized image of a rotting, undead Obama with a bleeding, large-caliber hole an inch above his right eye prompted Democrats to cry foul and Virginia’s Republican governor to denounce it as “shameful and offensive.”

“This is a disgusting and violent portrayal of the president of the United States,” said Democratic Party of Virginia spokesman Brian Coy.

The GOP has apologized... Ha... and the Secret Service is investigating all parties. Obviously republicans don't have a problem with showing the first african american president with a bullet in his forehead. Obama has historically had more death threats than any other president.

This report was just released today...

Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President's Secret Service.
Some threats to Mr Obama, whose Secret Service codename is Renegade, have been publicised, including an alleged plot by white supremacists in Tennessee late last year to rob a gun store, shoot 88 black people, decapitate another 14 and then assassinate the first black president in American history.

I watch the antics of this GOP crowd of miscreants and misfits, and I KNOW what caused this pathetic field of GOP Pres candidates to happen.... WHen your only political goal is to defeat one man, you wind up not having a political message that is coherent enough to matter.

I'm wondering why the media isn't putting this all over the cable news. My partner said he has seen it on TV today but I haven't and I'm watching MSNBC. So much for it being liberal.
 
An image of the president with a bullet in his head, published by his political adversaries, is never something to be taken lightly.

Obama deals with alot of hate from the white supremacists and for the most part it is kept out of our view.

400 times more death threats daily to him, than Bush, and we as americans have to do better than this.
 
I would be very hard to believe that Obama gets more threats than GWB.

They even had a Bush assassination play and people laughed.

It was halloween yesterday. Who says it was a bullet hole anyway.
 
We don't know how many threats he gets. The Secret Service doesn't discuss it. Anybody who claims to know, who isn't an active agent is full of shit.

Second, it's a Halloween picture and he's a zombie. Tasteless? Yeah, probably. So what? It's politics, let's stop clutching our pearls ladies.
 
I'm all for impeaching Obama and getting someone REAL in there like Ron Paul but this portrayal is just asking for trouble. I hope that he NEVER gets assassinated as this would make him a huge martyr, not to mention it would be murder.

You've got a really good point! With all this zombie stuff on TV this week, I know that zombies have to have an intact brain. If you get shot in the head before you die, you don't reanimate because the brain has been ruined. And if you are a zombie, and you get shot in the head, that's the game for you.

Maybe it's a worm hole or a big zombie zit that he popped?

Nobody here wishes the man ill will. Nor did the people who made the somewhat poor attempt at Halloween humor. It's a shame to waste the valuable time of any secret service agent with this childish nonsense.
 
Like practically everything the representatives of the republican party say or do these days, it makes U.S. politics look like a freak show thrown by violently demented children.

Good God, I despise our politicians here in the U.K.; they are slimy, double-speaking, self serving hypocrites, but at the very least they are, by and large, sane.
