Hypocrisy ABOUNDS. GOProud is a disgusting 'gay' political activist group that doesn't do ANYTHING to advance gay rights or gain more acceptance of gay rights within the Republican Party.

The Log Cabin Republicans at least actually tried to fight for gay rights within the party and outside the party as shown by their recent efforts with DADT repeal.

However GOProud considered the LCR "too left" because they openly supported gay rights and they actually worked with Democrats to advance gay rights.

GOProud doesn't support ANY gay rights legislation. They oppose gay marriage, gay adoption, hate crime legislation, you name it.

Anyone that knows who HE is can see why a scumbag like him would join GOProud.

99% of GOProud is white men with 6 figure incomes.

GOProud is nothing more than a handful of very wealthy token gays who the GOP is using to ward off the accusations that they (the GOP) are anti-gay, just like they use their token blacks to ward off the accusations of racism. It has been noted that Yuhas has appeared on Fox News several times helping them bash the left via disinformation. Republicans are pulling out all stops to win in 2012 and they think GOProud will help them with gay voters. I have yet to talk to one gay person who doesn't resent Yuhas and his band of propaganda queens.

If that is their intent, they are not doing a very good job of it. GOProud's main claim to fame was obtaining co-sponsor status in CPAC over the objections and boycotts of the religious right. With the change in the CPAC leadership the organization is caving to the religious groups and kicking GOProud out of next years CPAC.

The anti-freedom Republicans are using these token gays to further their twisted, intrusive agenda. You see this everywhere in the Republican party. Holier than thou so-called conservative Republicans enact restrictive legislation against gays and they're gay themselves.

Why does a political party who constantly rags on about less government and to stay out of people's private lives constantly dig deep into people's private lives?

Republicans are owned by the Koch brothers, extremist Christian and gun organizations and multi national corporation owners. Listen to them and you can tell they're not too bright.

Does this mean they should get a new leader?

Go to a Republican gathering. Take along a pocket New Testament. Bookmark it at II Corinthians 13:12. Walk up to some cute Republican activist and take out your New Testament. Read to him, "Greet one another with a holy kiss." Put your New Testament away and have at 'im!
