Granny drivers unite!

At times, I consider myself a granny driver, but more times I would use the word cautious.. most of the time I have no patience for driving but today, I was just minding my own business waiting to make a left hand turn on a major busy intersection. A huge truck coming in the opposite direction was going to make a right hand turn. Now, this particular intersection is under construction and the fact that this huge truck was obviously making a wide turn, I hear the horn from the driver behind me also wanting to make a left turn. I ususally don't let anyone intimidate me while I'm driving, but this guy pissed me off. Here I'm allowing this huge truck some room to turn his rig and this idiot behind me is impatient. The truck practically took out the right side of my car.

So I make my turn and this idiot behind speeds up in the inside lane. As he is going by I give him the finger. He starts shouting at me and of course the only word I heard was faggot. I continue to give him the finger without even looking at him. I come to my street and make my right hand turn while still giving him the finger.

Are you a granny driver too or are you the one who likes to intimidate other drivers?

No accidents that were ever my fault, thank you very much. I know how to use turn signals, also. I commute an hour each way in Baltimore and DC traffic, so one has to be aware! I am with you YVR!!!
 
giving someone the finger actually isn't "granny driving" ;)
 
I think you were being more 'considerate' than 'cautious' when allowing the truck driver to make his turn. It's the inconsiderate drivers who usually cause accidents. Considerate drivers usually avoid them.

Whenever I have the opportunity to drive, I always drive for everyone else on the road as well. Anticipating stupid drivers is much easier than smashing into them.

i am 20 drivin since 16 1/2
from when i started till i was 20 i drove a suburban with bad brakes of all things and had no problems
no i have my van and still no problems! i would be called a kick ass driver :p i learned to drive in los angeles and i did that with these cars and with no accidents i think its cool :p

Oh hell yeah it is. I hate when some young punk-ass runs up my tail. Me and my Buick were there first!

Slow down you speed freaks.

Here in St. Olaf I am one of the safest drivers. Of course I'm the only one that doesn't drive a horse and buggy.
