After 2 depressing weeks with no sun in sight, the sun finally came back to our part of the country!

It has been gray here for weeks too, but not depressing. It's winter, and it was the natural climate for winter.

It is so dull here for so many days that I just went out and threw myself into a snowbank out of existential despair.

Miserable as fuck here for months.

It has been gray and rainy almost everyday thus far. Just some slush every few weeks and no other indications of the usual winter. However, just checked the forecast for the next few days and it seems the cold is on the way with some snow and sunlight. Uhm.. There's hope for a white Valentine's day?

It was 79ºF and sunny in my yard today; after dark temperature plummeted towards a forecast low of 24ºF; freezing drizzle for Monday morning then 5-10 inches of snow and a forecast low of -6ºF Tuesday. Colorado weather is fun!

Largest 2-day temperature drop ever recorded here is 76 degrees in 2008--High of 58º and a low of -18º. Might beat that record if the forecast holds up.

^True. My last Colorado visit was in February 2018 and I was amused to be walking around the Highlands section of Denver in a t-shirt and jeans. At the end of February.
