Alanis Morissette and Sheryl Crow also get my personal votes. Lyrically, musically, and personality-wise, I think they have everything it takes to be a rock star. Man, I love them. Oh, and Blondie too. The Dixie Chicks are becoming some of my favorite rock stars too, with the evolution they as a band are undergoing.

And Janis Joplin is in a league of her unique own.

That is a great album, especially "Why'd Ya Do It?" & "The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan". I'm a huge fan of hers.

I love "why'd ya do it". Everytime I hear it, I picture Jennifer Aniston. She should send Brad a copy of that as a gag gift.
