Greys Anatomy

Tonight was intense!!! Anyone know if tonight was their Emmy Award episode? It should be. It was an incredible two hours of television.

I believe shows have already sent in their consideration videos...or whatever you wanna call them...I believe this ep. is too late for consideration

Agree with all the others... Phenomenal 2hrs of television.... let alone it being Greys!!! Amazzzzzzzzzing!

I use to love Greys Anatomy, but stopped watching when the show about a season before it went beyond reality.
Izzie loving ghosts/Izzie having inoperable brain tumor/Izzie recovering/Izzie back to being a surgeon a week later.
I watched most of the last hour and a half, and saw why I had left it. How can anyone say it was powerful? No one important died. (p.s.---If McDreamy HAD died, I would of started watching again). No real shake up of characters for next season. Sharp-shooters corner the guy, shoot him in the SHOULDER (uh?!---bad aim?) and then let him get up and walk away. How the hell did he end up in the operating room without any of the dozens of policemen following him? (hint----follow the blood trail? what, no blood?). Elevators were shut down. Yeah, o.k......carry the patient down the Fuc@*n stairs!
O.k.---I'm done. :)

^ True, her character sucked...but Heigl was one of the better actors on the show. This show is a lot like Private Practice in that some amazing acting talent is wasted on piss-poor writing. The characters are all completely and unrealistically self-absorbed. People are getting picked off floor after floor and half the characters are bitching at one another - while aware of a killer - about their love lives? Are you fucking kidding me? One could argue this would be a coping device, which is a sound argument, but it wasn't even out of character of them in a crisis situation. They went above and beyond sensationalizing emotions last night. It was way too melodramatic.

I believe the producers submitted the "who done it episode" for Emmy consideration.

That was the episode where the patient died and they did flashback scenes to find out who was responsible; it was one of the stand out episodes of the season IMO.

And i guess it made sense to submit that episode because the voters wont need to know the backstory of the characters. It was a stand alone episode that was riveting from start to finish.

Before Greys comes to an end i would love for Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson to get Emmys for their respective roles. It sucks that they have to compete against each other.

I like KH but she didnt deserve her Emmy that year. Sandra Oh should have won that year for the episode where she completely broke down and ripped off her wedding dress. That was a clinical actors showcase.

If KH was to have won an Emmy it would have made more sense that she win the year before for the episode where Denny died and she fell apart.

No...Sandra Oh won a Golden Globe. She has never won an Emmy for Grey's despite several nominations, same with Chandra Wilson (Dr. Bailey).

Katherine Heigl remains the only principle actor on the show to win an Emmy.

wouldn't surprise me if KH campaigned against her coworkers behind the scenes. lol.

 Probably.

I've always found the actresses to be better than the actors on this show, though. I'm sure several of the women on the show are worthy of an Emmy. Minus Pompeo (who looks fanfuckingtastic for a 40 y/o).

I've started watching this on Lifetime and I'm hooked. I've only seen season 1 and 2. I wish my torrents would hurry up so I can continue through season 3 and 4. Dr. Bailey is my favorite character. What a bitchy resident to have but it is making her interns better doctors.

Can anyone tell me whether this show is worth me catching up on the last two seasons? I stopped watching at the beginning of the "Izzie dates dead boyfriends ghost" season. I watched one "main event" episode last year and was not impressed. But I recently heard about the "musical" episode, and caught it on line this week. Now I regret dumping the show, because I loved that episode and have watched clips from the past year or two, on You Tube. Looks like I have missed a couple of great seasons. Should I spend my rainy days off work this next month or two, catching up on this show?........

Yeah I think that it is finally getting better. I think that whole storyline of Izzy was horrible. Her dating the "ghost", and then getting cancer, etc. After Izzy leaves, it gets good.

Last week musical episode was great. Loved when Callie sang.
