Hi guys,

Has anyone else out there experiencing problems with Grindr particularly with their latest update on Android phone?

I am using Sony Xperia Sola, OS Gingerbread. Since I updated the Grindr 2.0 last week practically unable to get ir opened and run. Only the opening orange screen with new logo then a force closing notification pops out.

I have contacted Grindr and been a week now, I haven't heard anything from them!

I regret updated it, I should've known better I know. So I am thinking to downgrade it now to become the previous version. Anyone kind enough to share link where to find the previous version please? Many thanks for that!
 
my grindr always freezes or it makes me force close. that app sucks.
 
I'm just taking a pot shot guess, as I have similar problems with my Kindle while surfing...

Pads and Phones don't have anywhere near the amount of RAM as PC's do. I'm guessing the lock ups are because those grindr sites load a TON of pictures, overloading the smaller devices. When my Kindle starts acting up/slowing down/locking up if I power it down and "reboot" it it works great for another round of surfing. I've also learned that not all apps work on all devices... even when they SAY they do.
 
I've had tons of problems with Grindr for Android (Honeycomb) in the past month. Grindr for iOS is working fine, however.
 
The new Grindr sucks. That's all you really need to know.
 
nop not that issue but it is pretty shit . it always says it needs to be connected to the internet or that im on aeroplane mode . when in fact neither are the issue .

It's such a shame that Grindr has quite significant flaws but unfortunately taking such excruciatingly slow actions to our problems. Since the last update 10 days ago, I believe they have received too many complains and negative feedback (e.g. user review on Google Play and their facebook page wall) but until now, the updated version for Android users still hasn't released yet ](*,)](*,)

Guess what we can do now just wait and see *%%**%%*
