Do any of you hate a particular meal but your family or room-mates etc, insist on having it? A little random but eating dinner right now and it's some "Country chicken on rice" dish which is just like, chicken stew and its so grosssss.

This and like, Potato Bake, Cheesey Cauliflower and Home-made soup are like my parents favourites, so have one of them at least once a month. ](*,)

You have a problem with someone enjoying their favorite meal one day per month?

Chicken and rice? Really?

Well its like a chicken stew thats poured over rice, so the chicken is slimey and the everything mooshy. And I don't have a problem with people enjoying their favourite meal, it's just I won't eat it so usually throw it out cause its some what pressumed I'll just eat it when I despise it!

what the hell is up with putting pineapple on pizza or pineapple on burgers

or frying banans

i just don't see how that mixes at all and mind you i LOVE pineapple and banans, just not on warm food like pizza/burgers and the smell of a banans being fried in a pan is really strong (never in a good way), every time my grandma had banans in the pan the smell always made me sick to my stomach. ):

yeah that's right i call them banans

ur NOT allowed to change the name of a fruit for your own convenance. stop calling them banans and call them by their proper name

My dad makes some soup with boiled blood.

He insists it tastes fantastic.

I'd rather eat an ass.

I like all of my food "neat" and structured. I tend to not like anything that dripping or oozing grease, oils, or sauces to the point that you almost can't tell what it is and it won't hold together!

Not a meal per se, but Mom's Carrot and Raisin Salad is to die for.

And if she ever tries to serve it to me again, I'll die.

Blech.

There's a meal my Grandmother loves, which I call her "Texas Peasant Grub": black-eyed peas, collard greens, and cornbread. But she long ago gave up on trying to get me to eat it with her, so she has it for lunch or when I'm going to be out for the evening.

In return for this consideration, I don't make her eat mushrooms, duck, or dolmas. I tricked her into eating lamb once by letting her think it was a pork chop; and even though she said it was the best pork chop she ever had, she still insists that she doesn't like lamb.

dessert would be cold cornbread mixed in buttermilk in tall glass eaten with a spoon
Oh, yeah, I forgot that part! Though Grandmother prefers it with part milk and part half-and-half, having lost her taste for buttermilk somewhere in the 80s. She used to drink the stuff straight before that.

So many things:

Brains, liver, testicles, the face of the pig, kidney, guts ...

I hate too any kind of crabs, snails, calamaries, squids.

All these foods are delicatessen in Spain.

Most of my family loves or at least likes some of the traditional Icelandic food which is a collection of the most vile things you could imagine, bleugh! People usually eat a lot of that kind of food during late January and early February so it's everywhere these days.

Dishes include:
Putrefied shark
Singed and boiled sheep heads
Ram testicles

I can't stand haggis, porridge, cream of wheat, blood sausage, or borscht. Thankfully none of that sh** is inflicted upon me anymore.
