This is just a bump to get Neil's "catalogue" of work back up where people can see it.
 
I'm still with you, my friends, and I appreciate you sticking with me and not pressuring me for the next chapter of something.

It's been a very long, very difficult, and rather depressing winter. There were many days where, had I been able to stay in bed, I certainly would have stayed in bed and never got out.

I've known for over 20 years that this was likely to happen. (I'd watched it happen to my grandfather when I was growing up and it terrified me to know what might happen to me. Well, it's happening and it still terrifies me.)

Anyway, the world is green again up here and all the gardens are so full of life again and it's breaking through my depression and bringing me back to life as well. Things are still very difficult, but I'm able to deal with them better.

These past few weeks I've been trying desperately to get something posted for you and I've been working on the final chapter of 'Best Buddies Redux'. I keep plugging away as much as I can and I'm getting there. Let's just say that I've rounded the far and heading home. My horse is lame and limping, and all the fans have left the track, but I'm getting there.

I hope it's worth the wait. I'm trying very hard to make sure it is. ..|

You've got Zippy Chippy beat by a mile, and there are still a LOT of fans in the stands, cheering you on.

While we can't take away your pain, know that you ARE in our thoughts and, for those of us inclined, our prayers.

You still have many fans looking for updates on your stories that think the wait, no matter how long , is well worth the time. I for one will keep checking almost every day to see what you might have left for us. Keep going as long as you can and we will keep looking for ypur posting. Bless you Neil for all the joy you have already given us.

Neil - thank you so much for preserving and not giving up on your followers or on Brad. This additional chapter is so welcomed although I must say it is the most G-rated, family oriented chapter you've ever penned.
