There must be something special about these guys. Personally I think you gotta have a lot of confidence to do something like that.

What do you guys think about guys who shave their head?
 
Besides just doing it because they like it? I would have to say it's guys who are starting to loose their hair and have receeding hairlines.
 
Ok, as a guy that does shave his head. I do it because I like the look of it better. No, I am definatly not going bald. just prefer it that way....
 
I've done it a few times and kept it up for a while just to see what it felt like and the reactions I would get. Mostly people said I looked older.

Right, and what about mullets or quiff, not to speak to believing that you have more credibility as a news anchorman or a senator in office by wearing your adult hair with the same parting your mom used to make you wear to attend church on Sunday... and that only to begin with :roll:

In fact, MOST people are, if not as ridiculous, at least as boring in their hairdos as in the clothes they wear.
 
Of course everyone's got different tastes.

But no matter their reason for doing it, I like it. Maybe it's the look. Maybe it's the confidence that it exudes. Maybe it's both. I've never really analyzed why I like it. I just do.

Not that I don't like guys with hair, too. The shaved/buzzed look is just one of the looks that get me goin'.
 
Well, I would say 80% of guys are in that middle, where their hair is not too short or too long, and then there are the guys that have it really really long and the guys that have it totally shaved. I think either extreme is kinda interesting and I wonder about the motivation either way.
 
I've been shaving my head for 20years... prefer it.. don't know about receeding hair line would have to let it grow to see if I have
 
I buzzed my hair to 1/4 inch about two years ago. I did it in order to let it grow back and decide during that time what style to go with. I liked it so much I decided to keep it.
 
Got hair, why shave it? ... it is almost like... If it ain't broken, why fix it?
 
I was losing my hair and knew that eventually I would have do something

When I lost my job I went for it as a "celebration"

I liked it so much that I decided to keep it!
 
I have a full head of hair, but I shave mine to take care of the gray! It is also easy to maintain, just comb it with a wash cloth!
 
I shaved my head at about 28 because a friend was going in for chemo therapy and was going to lose his hair. We kinda had a day with it.

I loved the look, I loved how easy it was to get ready in the morning, I loved how it felt and I loved how I was suddenly attracting about 5 times more men than I did with hair.

I also like how I never get helmet hair from my.. well.. helmet. Riding my bike is much more comfortable on hot days.

(and nobody ever asks me for spare change)
 
You need the right shaped head and the right facial features to make it work. Most just look like billiard balls to me.
 
I'm Black. Black hair is really a pain in the ass to deal with, so it's way easier to just chop it off. Can't imagine the hassle that Black women have to deal with. They've got it worse than anyone.
 
Even though I probably have totally the 'wrong' shaped head for the slaphead look #-o I don't care. :D

I've shaved my head for the past few years, and I rarely let it grow behind about 1/8 of an inch or so. I haven't got a receding hairline or bald patch, I just shave it because I like it that way, and because I'm far too lazy to fuck about with hair cuts and grooming and all that bollocks. ..|
