Guys (outside of the military) began getting tattoos when I was in my late 20's. I considered jumping on that band wagon but I began wondering how they would hold up as I matured. I'm now 50 and thankfully tattoo free. Today, when I see an overly tatted guy near or around my age, I think they just look old, very gay and spent.

I really don't like the current trend of body graffiti, the naked male body is a work of art in itself, to me these guys will never be naked again which is a great shame. As they get older it will fade and droop and look even worse!

Meh, to each their own. But as a counterargument, tattooing - like most everything else, has come light years ahead of where it once was. When you see an older person with a tattoo that looks faded and worn, yeah, they probably got it 20, 30, or 40 years plus ago. But times have changed. And like everything else, tattooing has changed with it. In most modern tattoos, the pigments used are designed to last a lot longer, and if the person getting the tattoo takes proper care of it, it won't fade and look so worn out over time.
