I don't have much of a problem letting a guy know I find him attractive. The problem is, so many guys LIKE knowing I find them attractive, even if they don't want me. They'll egg me on, just to see how much flattery they can squeeze out of me, then go home and do their boyfriends or girlfriends or whatever and leave me going to the movies alone. If he doesn't seem genuinely interested once he realises YOUR interest, let him go. But it all sounds great, so far.

*SIGH* don't mind me, I'm just obsessing over one of our regular customers - also a perfectly shaped gym bunny - who keeps "sexting" me but won't come over to the house or even go out somewhere just to hang out as friends.

I began playing Squash. He pormised he will train with me this week. Right now we have become good friends. Lengthy conversations each day, though mostly about sports and mostly in the lockers.

There is progress, though it is a bit slow. I am patient. Don't wanna rush things.

As I said before, he is 30 years old. He isn't married and I don't think he has a grilfriend so that's an extra point on the "available" side of the checklist,,,

Not to take anything away from impregnator, but I had previously made mention that I too was going through the same thing at my 24 hour gym, but had hurt myself and was told by doctors to avoid heavy lifting for at least 6 months, my doctor has cleared me, so like a majority of Americans, I rejoined my gym for the New Year. I have not seen him yet, but it is a 24 hour gym, don't know his name, work schedule, or even if he still lives in time. I guess time will tell.

Impregnator - How is the shower area set up at your gym? I'm curious if you guys have checked out each other's goods yet. I get the feeling he may be testing you to see if you will glance at him while he's nude. You might try letting him check you out before slipping on the boxers before you step out of the shower. At my gym there is a mirror above a sink that looks right into the first shower stall. I am amazed at the amount of guys who follow me into the lockerroom and pretend to wash their hands just to get a glimpse of me in the shower (via the mirror). Sometimes it's all about the set up of the locker/shower area. It makes it very easy to figure guys out and this usually happens immediately.

Also, most of the time when I strike up a conversation with straight dude at the gym or in the lockerroom he will mention a wife or girlfriend if he is straight (9 times outta 10). Even if this guy turns out to be straight, he should be damn flattered to have someone as handsome as you interested in him.

Dude, first thanks for the compliment. I'm really flattered.
Second, he didn't mention any girlfriend anytime we spoke and I never saw him with one either but I don't think that can be a definitive proof because I don't know what is happening in his life outside the gym.
You know, the idea of him waiting for me to check him out may be true. I have noticed him tkaing his time while taking off his clothes. Maybe next time i should be a bit more direct with him.

You know man, the only thing still inhibiting me is the fact that if he is not intereasted and he senses I am coming on to him, we will never be friends.
So I don't want to lose his friendship if things don't work out between us. But I think your idea is a very valid one. I am just waiting for us to play our first game of squash together. I guess we can bond better after it and the question won't seem rushed.

If you are on his team, you could casually swat his butt with your raquette, straight guys do it all the time (ie Football, baseball, basketball,etc) and IF he's straight he won't think anything of it, BUT if he's gay he might return the favor

^ It is one against one. It is not a professional team per se, we are all amateurs, but he has been playing for a year or so.

Yesterday, I asked a couple of guys to teach me the basics and I am training hard so that when I finally have a match with him, I would eb at least on an acceptable level.
