The practice of incest is a concern because of the lack of boundaries between very closely related parties. It's like, "If one has sex with his grandfather, why not his father, or his mother, or his sister?" Some relationships are fragile, and the sense of feeling "safe" and protected is the main concern. I suppose age matters in these scenarios as well, but it's a bit like Woody Allen looking around his living room (you might be too young to remember this - if you existed on the planet back then at all) and picking one of his "stepchildren" to have sex with. Back to you: you can do what you want if you're over the legal consenting age, but incest is still the kind of thing people shudder at, because it involves CLOSE relatives. P.S. It also makes one wonder: if your grandfather would have sex with his grandson, it then makes one wonder if he also tried to have sex with his son or daughter when they were young. He's not classified as a sexual predator and is in the database of every law enforcement agency in the world. So, looking at it that way, if grandpa acted like that, then THAT would mean one of your parents has some serious issues with trust and intimacy. So, you can see the issue. Woody Allen, by the way, never got banned, nobody stopped working with him or anything. And that was the '90s. I guess folks were less "enlightened" although, ironically, if you had confessed this in 1990, they'd have hauled your grandfather away to jail. Today, a while different world...
