Does anybody wear fake hair? I am embarassed to admit that I used to, back in the eighties (a/k/a as the era of big hair). It looked terrible and was expensive (what was I thinking?)
It felt like I was "in the closet" about my hair. After a few embarassing incidents, I'd had enough of the nonsense and I "came out" to myself about my hair and started to shave it and haven't looked back.

I know someone who confessed to me about 3 months ago he wore and I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! He was only 28.He wasn;t bald,just thinning. He said he couldn't do anything with his hair anymore and got a hairpiece. They have perfected them and this guys looked great. You could see scalp and all. He wears his short and the trick is the density. I'm one of the few who knows and I still amamazed whenever I see him. Heres the site he got his at.

I've known a few people who had "fake hair," and without exception, they all looked much better without it.

And everyone had bad hair in the 80s...real or faux. I live in constant fear that pics of my perm will surface somewhere online.

My cousin on my mother's side has a large balding head. He is a comb-over afficionado.
