They're getting the crap beat out of them by McDonalds adding cafe stuff to their menu, cheaper and with a drive thru.

Starbucks was always vastly overpriced anyway imho.

You're right about it being overpriced. I've tried McDonald's version and it tasted like pure sugar, I wasn't lovin' it.

Yeah it's definitely not for everyone, but if you drink anything other than plain hot coffee, it's hard to walk out of Starbucks with anything that costs less than $5. So it's hard to argue with the price difference if you're not too picky (like me.)

One time I went to Starbucks for a tall (small) cup of hot coffee and it was like $2.50.

I won't eve bother with Starbucks except very occasionally getting a frappuccino because I like them.

The thing about their blend too is that it's so friggin strong and bitter, it doesn't really mix well. If you ever try their iced coffee with a flavor in it, good god it was awful. It was like putting a little fruit syrup in with gasoline and drinking it when I tried it.

If I want a coffee, I'll get a coffee. If I want a milkshake, I'll go to Dairy Queen.
Frappichinos are for people with the palate of a 6 year old, but still want to drink coffee anyway. they're the girl drinks or menthol cigarettes of the coffee world.
