My girl Halle Berry just hours ago, received the 2,333rd star on Hollywood blvd's walk of fame. Way to go Halle (!) :D (!) .

I have nothing against Halle but I get the impression that, in general, the Walk of Fame, is getting less and less picky as the years goes by. Before it seems that you need a wheelchair before you are embedded in cement, now it will be a matter of months before Dakota Fanning gets the nod ..

Does it not take much to get a star? I don't doubt that Halle's a great actress, but I always thought they saved stars for when someone has gotten to the point where they are recognizeable and respected like air in media society and gotten to the point where almost everything they touch is gold.
 
Halle's acting is very hit and miss. But she seems like a nice person. Her performance in Monster's Ball wasn't that great.

Loved her in Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, though.
 
she won oscar only because she is "black". she didn't deserve it. and that speach was worst ever. nicole kidman was the best actress that year.. but who cares.. she is pretty ..

did u guys know that madonna -the bigest STAR in the universe doesn't have the star on HWOF .. because she doesn't want it! she said in 1989 interview that every bitch nowdays have their star, and that she doesn't want that her name is on the street and on the floor so people can walk on her name.
