Halloween Plans?

Last year I went to the village parade that's very fun, and then I went to a house party. This year will probably be the same. I should take it more seriously and start wearing costumes.

I'll be driving to Flagstaff and will be here for the weekend. My friends and I may head on down to Mesa though for a party on saturday =D

Party! (!) I've just gotta figure out what to be..

Cool beans guys! I will just hang with my best buds, have a few drinks and get crazy just like last year, lol!

^And you should walk IN the parade. It's about a million times more fun than standing there watching. I've done it plenty of times and I will this year. :)
I remember last year it was so cold and super packed that it was hard to get a spot. But I rather watch the creative costumes and floats than march.

Li'l Bit is going to one party this Saturday and another one on the 29th. Li'l Bit will be skipping Chapel Hill's Halloween nonsense.

Li'l Bit is going as a Ravenclaw this year!

Why not? Halloween is such a fun holiday.

parades are for losers.

OMG!!!

I want to go!

My suspicious package costume I wore in '06 was my fave to date.
That gives me an idea. I should grow out a beard, wear a keffiyeh, sun glasses and walk around with a duffel bag and wires sticking out in the subway. But then I think it's a dumb idea post 9/11. Cops are trigger happy.

No big plans.. if the weather is cold I will build a fire... if it's not then I won't..

I buy lot's of candy and love to have the little kids come buy in their cute costumes..
I give out a huge handful of candy to each.. seems that most people only give out one or two pieces of candy... I like to give out a huge handful... and the kids love it...
But as the night goes on the older kids come out.. many of them not in costume.. so they get less.
I think last year I gave out about 8 lbs. of candy.. perhaps I should be handing out toothbrushes as well... I don't know.. I thought once about handing out those little bags of small carrots... but did not think that would go over too well.

I used to like to go to friends Halloween parties (though I never went in costume).. but I prefer to sit at home with a fire and a good movie and watch the little kids come by and hand out candy to them.

Sounds pretty damn boring doesn't it? haha.
Once when I lived with my best friend, well we were going to head to someone house.. but a little girl caught me before I could leave the house..
I had nothing to give her... I looked through the pantry.. found no candy at all.
I took a small steak out of the freezer and put it in her bag... I'm sure she did not care for my 'treat' perhaps her parents did. but it's the best I could do.

I quicklly left the house soon after so I did not have to give up any more meat from the freezer.

wonder how many dead Khaddafy costumes we'll see in Village Parade this year---as it looks like he was just killed---bullet in the head

Going to WWE RAW with friends. Don't have the money to buy/make the costume I wanted this year, so just gonna enjoy that and hopefully some horror movies as well. :)

Halloween is far and away my favorite time of the year. I am such a costume freak! I spent over a thousand bucks on this year's costumes.

On the Thursday before, my best friend and I are going to the California Academy of Science Nightlife party, which has a zombie theme but we're dressing as the Sugarplum Fairy and the Nutcracker. I'll be wearing pretty much what I wore to SF Ducal, but with a sword and purple ribands and a marching-band helmet.

On Friday is my office Halloween party, which I am organizing; I'll be dressed as a French aristocrat, more or less... the costume I was planning didn't quite come together, so I'll be a French aristocrat in riding costume rather than court costume. I've recused myself from the costume contest because I always win.

On Saturday, Caroline and I are going to the Blackbeard's Ghost party out on Treasure Island, dressed as pirates of course (I'll be in my French aristocrat outfit again, but with a few tweaks to make it more seafaring and sexy).

Then on Monday, I'll spend the evening at home giving candy to the little ones. I may or may not dress up for them, I'll make up my mind come the day...much as I love costumes, I don't really relish sitting around the house all evening fully dressed.

A French Aristocrat? Nice! I've always wanted to dress up as one. Maybe next year.

I want to be 'No Face' from 'Spirited Away' but I don't think I have enough time to make the mask. Hmmmm...maybe just a zombie.

My plans? On Halloween I have a midterm for A&P. Fun.

But that weekend I have a party to go to. So that kind of evens it all out...just a bit.

I never really do anything for Halloween, anymore. I just don't want to go through the whole process of picking a costume for a party or something. And then I don't want to be something lame. XD There is a Halloween party going on this next weekend, though. Maybe I'll try to go.
