Love Halloween TV Specials from the 20th Century.

"Halloween with the New Addams Family" is quite a simple story.
The Addams Family is hosting a big Halloween Party at the house.
A gang of house robbers crash the party by dressing in costume, planning to steal the family's valuables while the party is in progress.

It was a special joy to me to see the original cast members together again . . . for the last time.

I always loved reunion movies - even watched some for shows I never followed that much originally. They did a lot of great ones from 60's shows - Addams Family - Munsters - Gilligan's Island - multiple Brady Bunch - the writing usually was not up to snuff - but it was fun to see the characters back together again.

Yep, you nailed it jjonn3.

The writing for the Addams Family Special just wasn't up to the old series standards.
Many scenes fall flat but the chemistry between John Astin and Carolyn Jones always made up for it.

Re-makes and Reboots never live up to the original! I wish they would stop doing them. Come up with something original. Hollywood has become lazy in that regard!
