Hannity Ripped to Shreds by Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison

Lieberman always caucused with the Democrats and on most domestic and economic policy was a moderate-liberal, no lock stock GOP stooge. He definitely is no right wing caricature

I disagree. I don't really care how many minor votes he voted with "his party" on when everytime his vote actually counted he voted with the Republicans on GWB policy.

Top of my head
Joe manchin
Max baucus
Tim Johnson
Mark Warner
Dianne Feinstein
Andrew Cuomo
Steny Hoyer
Jim McGovern

Come to mind

Big Russ Feingold fan

More but that's a start

There are actually some good ones there in that list. I'm impressed Chance.

I see there are a lot of people looking through the rose-colored glasses on this one. Ellison was horrible and was the one in the wrong here. He repeated the same tired, generic talking points over and over about how it isn't Obama's fault without saying specifics. He behaved like a spoiled rotten child when Hannity would make a comment, then he would turn around with a "No I'm not, you are" type of a comment.

If I were Hannity, I would have either cut his mic or booted him off the show a lot earlier, frankly.

*gag* The only good one is Feingold. Even the supposed liberal Feinstein is a total shill for the military-industrial complex, pushing through stupid legislation that curbs civil liberties. Don't get me started on Manchin/Baucus/Johnson/Warner.

Well I give him credit for being able to list more than Lieberman. It's like when a Republican is able to name a Supreme Court case other than Roe v. Wade. Small victories.

Lieberman's voting record is more complex than that take...though I would disagree with some of his stances on national security, foreign affairs and defense. He helped push the fight to end Don't Ask, Don't Tell driving the fight on the Senate side to overturn it. You see things as rigidly ideologically. I'm a Democrat with a much more moderate temperament and while I respect and appreciate passion on the issues and that you're coming from a good hearted intent but as practical governing philosophy it doesn't work. I know you would disagree but so be it.

Or the simpler explanation than "I must be an ideologue because I have different priorities than you" might be that... I have different priorities than you.

Lieberman being on the right side of gay rights no more neutralizes out his horrific votes during Bush's 8 years than a diehard neocon switching his stance on gay marriage conveniently after safely winning re-election or stepping down from office.

Thanks ;)

Pretty fucking douchey

One step forward two back

Andy and Mystik have explained it reasonably

The rest ? Twisted

Actually, I give him credit for listing any Ds given his political proclivities, but he's for sure not as rabid in real life as he likes us to believe, just contrarian. Turning the question back to myself, there is not one Republican I could support and I have a perfect track record dating back to 1976.

^^

You don't have to take God's name in vain Bob.

Taking God's name in vain refers first and foremost to claiming to be one of God's people and a loyal follower, but acting entirely contrary to that assertion.

Excellent examples can be found on the list of recent Republican primary candidates for president.

I'm with Chance on this one. The congressman looks ineloquent, unprofessional, and never really makes much of a resounding point.

Hannity is a disgrace to broadcasting, but you'll never out-shout him on his own show. Just because Hannity began the piece with childishness, it's no excuse to start a shouting match. The congressman should have held his temper in check and discussed the issues like an adult. He comes off looking foolish.

No one Hannity has on will look like an adult -- he won't invite guests who are capable of that; they'd show him up.

Yeah - that's a good bandwagon thought

Hannity is xyz

But IF u watched the video you'd see who the bigger mess was

Not the talking head
But the elected official

I watched the video.

Hannity remains a rude, lying, disrespectful, manipulative, intellectually challenged partisan hack.

Interesting to see the Outcasts are accusing of everyone they disagree with of not watching the video when in fact all those who commented on it did watch.

Ellison was talking to someone who did not deserve respect so he acted accordingly. If Chickenshit Hannity was within earshot I would say to him what the Representative did and more.

When is he going to be waterboarded?

Yeah, chance in particular seems to be under the delusion that everyone would totally see what he sees in any video he or one of the other free thinkers posts, and therefore anyone who disagrees, obviously hasn't seen the video.

Um, no, we usually have seen it. We just didn't see what YOU saw in it. Let the dying of shock commence.

Who says Hannity isn't ?

Ellison is supposed to be better than that

Your choice to focus on Hannity and ignore the frother

Speaks volumes

Worse that u saw then commented

Evidence of affliction
