My birthday was really nice. I had a busy day. My partnerDon actually made the plans for me. People who live nearby had me in for dinner with a dozen of our friends to celebrate, sing happy birthday and to party. It was nice.

Mid afternoon I went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It was OK. I have played the character Dumbledore in local theater, so it was strange seeing him die. I did it a few times a couple of years ago.

Then there was the cards that came by mail and of course by e-mail. On top of that a package come from my grandsons and a ton of phone calls during the day.
I will rest tonight a happy man. I am now sixty-nine, but sadly I will get no sixty-nine action tonight. In fact I wll have to wait for next weekend.

Pokaman's post had the song Birthday Sex on it. It is the first birthday in ten years that I could actually hear any sounds and appreciate the songs. It always causes me to chock up a bit. Thanks to you Pokaman.
