So have you had enough or are you among those who will be haunting the malls today looking for post-christmas bargains?

Happy Boxing Day to all our neighbors to the North.

No malls for me, ever. I will do some baking, run a quiet trip to the PO, and finish putting ornaments on my tree.

We expect heavy snow overnight going into Sunday, so will be hunkering down to enjoy leftovers. Good time to clean house.

I do all of my shopping about one week before Christmas, I set a certain budget and spend no more looking for bargains after Christmas.
Enjoy your Holiday!

Happy Boxing Day.
No shopping for me either, it was all done by Christmas Eve. Also with the rain and gales I have no real desire to go anywhere!

It's hard to get excited about Boxing Day anymore since it often starts the day after Black Friday.

According to a store flyer app, Mobil 1 engine oil is 40% off today at Canajun Tire's Part Source stores, so I'll head over to be there when it opens.

It's the first time I've used the app, so I hope it's accurate.

Happy Saint Stephen day everyone. I've had enough unboxing food

I bought something online yesterday and will buy something else at the beginning of the next year.

I went to the mall on Boxing Day once... it wasn't any different than a normal day at the mall in December. Busy, but not stampedes of people trampling each other kind of busy.
Although what was interesting is that even on Boxing Day, Zellers was deserted! (Well to be fair, the one in that mall was a really bad location, and it closed years before Target hit the scene.)

We woke up to a few inches this morning (snow, I mean) and expecting more this week along with lower temps. Winter is finally here. Our home is warm and the cupboards and fridges filled with food, so we are set to relax for a bit, before another flurry of activities for New Years. So, hunkering down is good, cleaning not so much.

Boxing Day in New Zealand is bargain shopping day too. The malls were chocker yesterday (it is 27th here now).

I spent much of the day in the garden cutting back and generally tidying up. It was mild enough not to need a coat and a great way to blow away the cobwebs and forget about Christmas.

There was no way I was going anywhere near a shop.

Happy boxing day.

No Boxing Day shopping for me. I'll be inside where it's warm reading a book :)

No Boxing Day in France; life has returned to normal.
