Happy Easter..!

Easter was interesting this year. I went to my sisters and her family with my guy and when we walked through the door, my niece(23) asked how we had met.
I forgot that she was only a kid(7) when she met him(2008) and saw him year after year. Anyways, we told her we met online(left out the part it was a hookup site). She wanted to know when we met.(2006) She wanted to know how old he is (59, me 65). I found it amusing that she had these questions and it took her so long to ask them. We had been together for 18 years. My family knew most of the answers, beside how we met, but couldn't remember most of it as it was ancient history.:)

Easter Monday is Dyngus Day! :hurray:

The tradition is widely associated with Poland in English-speaking countries and is observed by Polish diaspora communities, particularly among Polish Americans who call it Dyngus Day.

This is the day when your Polish friends and neighbours traditionally say "What the hell's Dyngus Day? I've never heard of it".

I realized this easter family dinner that I really don't actually like my g nephews that much (8 and 4). I see in both of them traits that concern me. Neither has any affection at all for us, except for gifts we give them and neither shares emotionally.

The interesting part though was the 4 year old asking me if I had a girlfriend.

Where does a 4 year develop a conceptualization of having a girlfriend? And he was quick to correct me that his Nanna couldn't be my gorlfriend because she was my sister.
