Ok I'm a little behind the times I guess. I've just heard about this movie "Happy Endings". Apparently it was only released in the UK at the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. It has a really good cast including Lisa Kudrow, Maggie Gyllenhall, Jesse Bradford (mmmm), Bobby Cannavale (mmmmm), Laura Dern and more.

I know I can get it on eBay, but I'd like to know if anyone out there can tell me whether or not it is any good?!

Thanks in advance

As was said before, it's an enjoyable time but not a great movie. Can you rent it?:-)

I personally found it enjoyable and really liked it, but it really depends on perspective.

It follows the "Love, Actually" form of various stories that start out different but at the end somehow ties all together, a type of movie Jesse's been doing a bit lately ("Heights.") The story was pretty emotional, the movie filled with some good dark comedy. Some say it was too complex for them, but I found it followable.

Not a Woody Allen film, I'm afraid. It's by Don Roos, who also directed and wrote the other gay related film which Lisa had acted in - The Opposite of Sex.

^don't remember that...

But otherwise, this was a very good movie...And it has a fair amount of gay content in it too, which is always great.

But yes, there's a fair amount of dark comedy, which you'll either laugh at or just shake your head disapprovingly.

Either way, I recommend it highly...And froma guy who sees pretty much 20+ movies a month, that's a good recommendation.

I absolutely loved it. I was really surprised by how much I liked this movie. All the actors did a great job and it was wonderfully written. Bravo to Lisa Kudrow.

I loved the storyline with the gay guys. I wanted to jump through the screen and give the British guy a hug. :(
