A piece of crap rehash of the other peguin movies... Besides I have been to the theaters for more than a year...

i thought it was really cute... and i wasnt expecting the use of real humans in it.... i sound like im an alien ha ha never mind so ya i was like nifty and i laughed and i thought it was s ocute

this movie was AMAZING! it really was very very well done...it's basically this generation's "Fern Gully" though...what with the important and powerful message.

Not to sound like a 12 year old girl, but it was soooooooo cute!!!! Incredible animation! I almost felt like I was really in Antarctica.....great voices in the movie too! I'm glad Brittany Murphy's vocal talent is getting more exposure.

I've seen the previews for it, and to me it just looks too...kiddish. Although then again, after seeing Monsters, Inc. (Best CG movie by far) I decided that I was to never see another CG movie again, since to me that is probably the best that genre of film would get.

you know what annoys me
"Happy Feet is a 2006 Australian-produced computer-animated film"
and yet we have to wait till boxing day :grrr:
australian made films should release here at least at the same time and not after:grrr: :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

NOT HAPPY JAN

Sorry to hear that ctm5100. In KL we are quite up todate with movie releases. Sometimes even before its shown in USA.
There are also some that never make it here:grrr:

I luvie Pengyuiiieeessss!

See? That is how you sound like a 12-year old girl.

Awesome movie by the way. Damn humans, polluting our planet.

I loved the movie.

The little penguins were sooo adorable.

It was so fun to watch. Very funny, but sad at the same time.

I didn't really like it. I mean, I could take it or leave it. I have seen many children movies that were way better. And there were some things that just confused me. Like for instance, why did Mumble still have a baby face through out the movie. All the other penguins that were born when he was had matured into full adults. Another thing, when Mumble was stuck at the aquarium how would him dancing lead him back home. There is no way in hell an aquarium is gonna let a dancing penguin go. It would bring in so much money. Also, how do scientists link low fish supply to dancing penguins. Give me a break. I know I'm reading too much into this. But still, these things irritated me to no end.

Also there were too many sexual innuendos for it to be a kid's film. They had the audacity to sing "I want Your Sex." Highly inappropriate!

Bma1983: Here are the answers...

1.) To differentiate him from the rest of the penguins. It's partly alluded to when Memphis dropped him.

2.) If I had a dancing penguin, I'd want to know where it came from so I can get the other penguins too. Now, consider this: scientists always prefer intellectual recognition over monetary gain. Analysis of an entire clan of dancing penguins = intellectual recognition. Intellectual recognition = social action. Social action = habitat preservation. Habitat presevration = Happy Feet.

3.) They didn't link anything. They just thought that it's way cool to have dancing penguins, and depleting their supply of fish would just be unjust.

4.) Don't let kids watch Animal Planet then.

That cover everything?

I don't remember the last time Animal Planet had animals singing "I wanna sex You Up" to other animals. Besides, the shows on Animal Planet have real animals in natural settings. "Happy Feet" is not. It's marketed as a kids movie. Maybe it's just me, but children movies shouldn't have penguins shaking their butts and hips to seduce other penguins.

Of course it's just you. Haven't you heard? The Democrats won. Though to be honest, I myself didn't hear the line "I wanna sex you up", I was lost in the frenzied dancing. Now tell me, after their oh so savage seduction of each other (Why, I simply cannot think of anything more graphic than singing and dancing!! Oh my goodness, morality has been thrown to the wayside!!!), how did they express their love for each other? Did they hump on screen?

Yeah, they were fucking right on the ice. Didn't you see it. Oh, wait, you were too distracted by the bad singing and dancing.

Your sense of morality may deem it appropriate for a kids movie to include sensual gyrating animals singing adult themed songs. Mine doesn't. And being liberal, conservative, democrat, republican has nothing to do with it.
