We are about to have our second turkey dinner and I feel cheated because I have worked my little fingers off typing away yesterday and today finishing a report.

But Here's to a lovely Thanksgiving.

Keep forgetting you're in Canada. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I could do an entire dinner right now with all the fixings.

I was just wondering what you were having for Thanksgiving dinner.

So what-all has been on the menu?

Turkey.

Stuffing/Dressing

Roasted and mashed potatoes.

Squash.

Beans roasted in butter.

Gravy....

Pumpkin Pie.

Apple Pie.

Dinner Rolls.

Although for our own thxgiving dins...we are having turkey, dressing and brussel sprouts.

We ate the last of the pumpkin pie I made last night.

Looking at him I knew you were going to have stuffing!

Just great. Two Thanksgivings in North America, not one, on which turkeys like me have to worry about their lives!

So Canadian Thanksgiving dinners are the same as American ones, then ...

Nothing distinctively Canadian? Not even butter tarts?
In the past we absolutely had butter tarts when my Nanna and Aunt Esther were in command.

I used to do this...but we are all too stuffed by the end of dinner....so now they only appear at Christmas dinner, along with Christmas Pudding and pumpkin pie.
