Nice and easy today. Going by my lesbian neighbor friends. Always fun being with them. A little family later tonight maybe for dessert.

I did a huge thick cheesecake with fresh strawberries and glazed with a little jam.

I made a big pan of Dutch butter letter bars. Thick with almond paste filling. Love almond paste. And they are nice and easy.

Made a pan of homemade fudge with condensed milk and ground walnut topping.

And a fresh Key Lime pie with condensed milk as well. I might hide that for myself.

Picked up Napoleons and cookies from bakery and some Godiva chocolates.

Just call me Tubby.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

What are your traditional family dishes for this dinner? We have turkey with stuffing and I will make a Pumpkin pie...maybe some baked squash and sweet potatoes (NOT candied)

I realize I'm kinda late on this topic.

We always do turkey and boxed stuffing. There is one family member that doesn't make it most years but he favors ham and has to bring it himself if he wants it added to the meal. We have a cranberry side dish (ground frozen cranberries, marshmillows, walnuts, whipped cream, and chopped apple) that we always have. Most of the time we have the candied sweet potatoes or mashed potatoes. And pumpkin pie and pecan pie. The vegetable is usually sweet corn.
