Ever since Pluto was downgraded, I've considered changing mine to Ixthrock. But then there's Chiron, etc., to think about

I've always chosen moderately obscure cartoon characters for my sign-in names. They're easy to remember, they immediately answer the question "what should be my avatar?" and it gives people something to latch my personality onto. They've always seemed to work quite well, and this one perhaps more so than the others.

I like my user name, I try and use it whenever I have to come up with a username, it just simpler that way. Elwood was my old dog, he was a great dog.

Of course the name is borrowed from the Blues Brothers movie.

I am fine with mine. It is two words combined... horizontally challenged... and when I typed in for my username here, I erred by typing in an S, but it worked out fine, so I decided to keep it spelled this way.

Thrilled to pieces! Of course, I thought it over for quite some time before I chose it (like, a couple of weeks). It's my second username, and I had the first one for three years.

But then, I liked my first username, too... it's the same username I put on most of my accounts... just my given name and my drag-name hyphenated. It's the same on FaceBook and MySpace and three or four other places. I only dumped it because the accent-marks screwed up my linkability.

I think many of us choose our usernames with one hand on our dicks, just clicking through so we can get to the members-only porn areas. Which is probably why the mods so generously allow us to change usernames once we've settled down and started talking.

I've had mine ever since I joined and I wouldn't dream of changing it. I doubt whether there'd be many Jubbers who joined around the same time as me, still using the nic they signed on with, though.

Mine will go with me to the grave as will my avatar.

It took me too long to decide on a name and hours and hours to crop and resize for my avatar to ever change them.

Plus I like it when people want to be friendly that they can call me dp.
