one more week and the epicness that is HARPERS ISLAND ENDS! I'm going to really miss this show, It provided a nice change from all the nonsense we see on TV nowadays. Speculating and predicting with you guys was all the more fun. CBS must do another season! or better yet another network can?
I hope this show somehow made stars out of Chloe, Cal, Jimmy, Sully, Danny, Abby, Trish and even Madison.

Even though the ratings were low, it does not mean producers and etc weren't watching.

All of the above that I mentioned really acted there asses off and they deserve some kudos. Pilot season here they come haha.

Well Trish has "Melrose" in the fall and will be in the remake of "Nightmare on Elmstreet" and Chloe has the "Alvin and the Chipmunk" sequel coming out. Sully will be in the "Gossip Girl spinoff" Danny has like 3 movies coming out soon if they haven't already came out? LOL I just wish this group the best and hope they make it big.
 
What was the reason to having most of the cast running around with rifles when NONE of them know who to aim?

Canada gets the finale on THursday, but I won't blab.
 
lol only Cal,Abby can't shoot for shit. Henry never used his gun, neither did Trish,Danny and Sully

Wakefield is 50 feet in front of her and she shoots at the ground 10 feet to his left ! :lol:

Ahh well, it's still fun.

Maybe there will be a sequel: "Return to Harper's Island" !

And this time it's the Harlem Globetrotters and Gilligan and the Skipper and...

well. um. since the show is airing on july 11th, i would have to be psychic. but, i don't know. i was just pissed at the fact that i may or may not have uncovered sully was not the killer. but, who knows??? i didn't take into consideration that people may think i have seen the show. although i knew it's air date. i thought it was common knowledge. and i have posted in many threads about shows and movies. and i have never given the ending to anything away. even to things that have been released. but, really. can we just get over it? i was tired and pissy the other night. meds would be cool. you got some? i'll take them.
 
OK so I was watching Craig Ferguson and they showed a clip A NEW ONE!!!

There in the jail and Jimmy says that Trish fell at the bluffs, Henry and Sully start to get suspicious and take Jimmy's gun away.

Abby is absent and so is Danny( Obviously there both with Wakefield near the cell) The others are in some office.

Henry mentions that they have Wakefield so at this point in the clip Wakefield is most likely behind bars!

In all seriousness though, I did anjoy this show. Ratings might have sucked but it was a nice break from the crap we see on TV these days. CBS should consider doing this every Summer, Harpers Island has a fanbase so they should capatalize on that.

Danny and Sully died heroes though, im so proud of both, Sully was so close to escaping and his love for Henry messed that up. What about Henry and Danny's scene in the cannery? After finding Shane.. Henry is a fucking asshole for doing this to those two guys who loved him like a brother. And to TRISH?? OMG what a bastard... And omg Danny gets killed with something poked in his eye... gross dude
 
Thank you for posting that even though I have not looked. It is going to be so hard to not come back here for two days ... Just tell me if it was a good episode like the directing and acting and everything.....was it everything good and more?
 
im just pissed about danny and sully dying, they loved henry as a brother and he does this??? Fucked up! Killing his fiancee for ABBY??? Trish or Abby? Who would you pick? Yea exactly... I wanted Danny to live though, he was such a good guy and Sully turned into a good guy.. Henry showed signs of obsession alot, he was always with Abby instead of his soon to be wife, it really wasn't hard to take notice
 
well now i have seen the last two episodes, and i have to say that it was not at all how i had predicted the outcome. i mean. that was just waaay fucked up. and i hope they have other shows like it. remember the tv show reunion. i wish they would have filmed it like harper's island. all at once. so, there would have been an ending to it.
 
NO SPOILER CONTENT BELOW--SIMPLY A GENERIC REVIEW

I had really fallen in love with this show, but I did not like the 2 hour finale. In fact, the show spiraled off course several weeks ago when Wakefield was revealed to be alive. It became rather formula slasher after that as opposed more to the mystery whodunit format prior to Wakefield's rebirth. And it felt like the show dragged on for so long once ALL of the mysteries were revealed. I dunno....I was royally let down.

Still, I'd love to see further efforts in this genre by network TV in the future.
 
LOVED DANNY!!!! I really wanted him to live, he was so heroic though... I wish he would have moved that little ass memo holder, seriously that little thing and he couldn't move it??? Trish and Sully dying was so sad man....

the video camera was so sad, seeing them living there last days was tragic
 
well well well.... I have to say that the ending was nothing that i could have expected. It was kind of a reach the whole obsession thingy but whatever. At first I was not feeling Sully, however, he became my third favorite/saddest death. I love that they ended it with the wedding videos. I just wish they would have said why he killed his brother( i assume his brother was on to him?)
