hope he finds a happy new home---

Man, you got the worst luck, but the best stories. Shouldn't you be out looking for your poor little pup?

Sorry to hear of this. If it has a chip in it and is found it should come back to you.

Still no word, he/she could be anywhere.

Hopefully someone brings him back to you.

Great news everyone, he/she has been found, he/she had made his/her way back to the animal shelter (ungrateful little bitch) happily he/she is now back with me and enjoying life again.

In many ways so far he/she has been more trouble than he/she is worth, hopefully it's good times here on in.

Alright! Get out the peanut butter to celebrate!

No, he/she might have a peanut allergy and i've already paid out enough on him/her without any more vet/funeral bills.

I know a couple whose Scotty, Dante, wandered off without his collar. For 2 weeks they looked for him and ultimately figured he was gone for good. Then one day the husband was walking to a restaurant about 6 blocks away and saw Dante sitting on the stoop of one of the neighborhood row houses. Relieved and excited at finally finding the dog, he approached the stoop, expecting that Dante would be equally happy to see him. Instead, he was greeted with a growl. Turns out that Dante had been taken in by a couple who were home most of the day--unlike my friends--and doted on him like a child. They even fed him steak. So much for Dante being my friends' best friend. He probably thought the other couple were more deserving of his devotion.

no. once it was gone, it stayed gone. I secretly suspect our parents may have had to put him down. this was like 30 years ago so telling us he got out and ran away we would have believed that.

My mom admitted recently our dog got hit buy a car Christmas day when I was 10 instead of disappearing like they told us. I spent the whole Christmas vacation walking the fields and woods looking for him.

Yay! Good news! :)

And now for a cute guy/cute dog moment.

^ That got a bit pervy at the end. great find ..|
