Where on earth were any clues about Harry and Ginny? All there was was Ginny's fangirl lust. Harry felt nothing toward her until one blatant sentence in Half-Blood. Where's the build up? It doesn't convince me at all.

Good reasoning for the Harry/horcrux thing. This only strengthens my belief that Harry must die.

I thought I read somewhere a while ago that JK Rowlings has said that Harry will die in book 7 so there can be no continuation of the series.

i feel that harry must die for this series to end, BUT then again, all theories aside, althouh JK might have planned for harry to be a horcroax from the beggining, in truth, the intended age for these books are for around 5-15, and if harry dies, this would cause alot of ditress, remember that 13 year old nirvana fan that offed himself and his girlfriend when curt cobein died. i know thats a fair but off topic, but harry has become some what of an idol, believe me when i ay i wish the ending was as simple as our theories make us believe, but JK is smarter then that. she knows we will think harry is a harcroax. my pider sence tells me there is going to be a twist in this last book.

I still say that Rowling may change her mind. She can just re-write. death or not, depends on her PMS mood.

Anyway, I like that debate on the couple thing.

Harry + Draco?
I prefered HArry + Oliver.
That never happened.

I liked Harry + Diggory.
That never happened.

So, I like to go with Harry + Hermione.

But then again, I was also routing for Brian + Justin, and see where the result went. sigh.

its in the latest book, for voldamort to be of somwhat "imortal" he split his soul into , and places bits of them all around the world in objects\\anything. hence, you cant kill voldamort till you kill all his soul.

A horcrux is an object or being that contains a piece of another person's soul. It's practical use is as a backup file for a person's life. Until all of Voldemort's horcruxes are destroyed, he cannot be killed.

J.K. Rowling never really intended an age range for the books. They're dark. A common theme (from J.K.'s mouth) is death in the books. We have to expect major deaths. If she's going to kill Dumbledore (rest his soul) then she certainly has the cajones to kill Harry.

Yeah I totally agree Harry will die in the last one. Ron & Hermione will end up together (duh!) but didn't J.K. say she will kill off 3 major people in the last one??? I wonder who else will bite it?????

Yeah you're probably right about that. Voldemort has to die (duh what's the point of Harry's saga) and having Harry die with him at the end of their epic Final Battle would definitely close up the entire story. Wow I bet that Final Battle between the two is going to be breathtaking to read. I can't wait!!!

If you read the prophecy carefully, you'll find a lot of twists in the wording. "Neither can live while the other survives." I think this means their going to have to kill each other. When one dies, the other goes. Harry's a Horcrux. He has to die so Voldemort can die as well.
