I don't know if anyone's had a chance to see the trailer for the penultimate installment to the Harry Potter series, so I figured I'd post the clip from youtube. I can't wait til November rolls around.

Are they releasing it in two parts? I hated the last book. it was annoying drivel. but i bought it and i will go see it in theaters ahah because I can not help it

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I (2010) (post-production)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II (2011) (post-production)

Write now I am watching "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban".............

That's odd. That warning says the preview is Rated R. I remember the director saying that these two films would be heavier and may include a bit of nudity (it's in the book actually), but I'd be very, very surprised if the gave these films anything more than a PG-13 rating. They'd lose a majority of the viewers. It's a kinds book, remember...

...For kids that have had about 13 years to reach the age of 17 and older.

The tone of the books changes significantly from the first to the last, and regardless of if some 7 - 11 year olds get shut out, the movie is going to make serious bank with kids 15+ and adults internationally (and those parents who will bring their younger kids to see it anyway).

The film has sufficient content to probably get a heavier rating. People get tortured and killed. The book probably has the highest dead count in the series.

I highly doubt it will be restricted. PG-13/14A at most.

I hope they leave out that God awful epilogue.

I know that epilogue was horrible, i mean Albus Severus? And I heard the actors are playing themselves during the epilogue, that should be interesting to see. I just hope they don't cut out much. I wonder how are they going to incorporate Dobby back into the story since he's has been gone since the 2nd film. He had a key part in this book, so they can't replace him with Neville this time.

I guess Warner Bros. doesn't want people to see the movie. They removed the trailer from YouTube. Free advertising for them and they worry about copyright infringement. Stupid pricks killing the internet.

[STRIKE]Yes, finally a YouTube version! It was impossible to find it for a while, WB kept getting them down...[/STRIKE] ETA: oops, nevermind... :P

I may be a geek and like a lot of things, but only Harry Potter gets me squealing with excitement! I love those books so much...

And Deathly Hallows is my favourite! I might faint with all the awesome!
