Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I say! It gave me chills!

One of the best trailers I've ever seen.

I got chills, I am so pumped for this. Something about two films just says that they will give this the ending the series deserves.

I have to agree Anton. Ending the seris with two films makes sense. I can hardly wait.

OMG!!!!!!! IM SO PUMPED!!!! Can not wait!!!!!! too bad its A YEAR AWAY!!!!! ....and as far as im concerned, the last two movies should have been in two parts!!

I... so incredibly want to see this.

Although I'm probably the only one that wants to see it in plain ole' 2D, and sadly all the theaters around me only show the crappy 3D versions of movies if those are available :(.

I am actually quite impressed by the trailer. It looks very full, and action packed.

Can't wait.

Why does it have to be in 3D, though?! I can't stand 3D so will have to hunt down the 2D version.

Looks soo good, but it seems most of the good parts are probably cut from part 2. I remember the first half of the book was... lacking. The 2nd half was total action.

I wonder how they are going to do this!

I was just checking on imdb.com to see the full cast, and I saw the young men they cast as Grindelwald and young Dumbledore. Considering what Rowling revealed about Dumbledore's sexuality and his feelings for Grindelwald, I wonder if the movie will show any of that dynamic between the two characters.

I seriously doubt that. They wouldn't want to confused all the children watching the subliminal homoerotic messages.

The scenes in the trailer are probably 60% from the second movie, as they were from the last half of the book.

I'm so pumped to see this. I just think the first half is going to be much more lacking than what they are portraying which could disappoint people.

I just hope like the first movie its alot more loyal to the book. The Half Blood Prince really dissappointed me, they is sooo much relvent information missing from the films that help tie the whole thing up, lets just hope they add them in as lines for some character to speak. BTW the part on the train tracks is that new or was it mention in the book that the express was raided by Death Eaters looking for Harry?

EEEkk! Can't wait! So pumped!

Irish, I don't think that part was in the book, I've read it like four times, and I don't ever recall the express being derailed by Death Eaters looking for Harry.

This movie should not be in two parts, but since it is it definitely should not be split Nov then July. That is crazy. And while it will make gobs of cash I think some fans are drifting away when you consider how many years have passed. My sister got me to read the books a few years back and now she doesn't even mention Harry Potter.

The trailer is definitely cool and a lot of the action is in the second half, but remember there is a fight right at the beginning when they try to kill Harry. I am sure the wedding scene will also have action.

One other change from the book is that the final scene between Harry and Voldemort in the movie is outside and in the great hall in the book.

I can't wait for this! I'm really excited to see how they play out the heavy action scenes. The wait between the two movies is going to be a bitch

I kind of lost intrest in the movies. Harry just annoyed the shit out of me in the last couple of films. Perhaps its the actor playing him. I find him to be rather dull and boring.
I hope this is the movie that makes me love the series once again.

Jayden, I see your point. I think they made Harry a little more arrogant, a little less likeable. Part of that might be the whole possessed by Voldemort thing.

I think the actor playing him comes off as weak and feminine. I just want to slap the shit out of Harry and yell. Use your magic you weak bitch! lol.

If they can capture the level of excitement in the book they will do well. I thinking beating the last book might be a bit impossible. Off the top of my head my heart was racing:

The opening fight
The wedding
At Gringots
In the woods
I almost died in that Malfoy cellar
That spitting scene - I think that may have been the first time I ever jumped out of a chair when reading a book

All credit to JK. She created a great world and is a marvelous storyteller. And to think she was once on welfare. There is hope for me yet
