Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I thought Prisoner was the best yet, it was Goblet that made me want to kill the production team.

then you obiviously didn't read the book...they left over half of it out and wrote in all this new stuff!!! I heard JK was not to happy about it ether, reasons why that director was only around for one movie.

just seen it about a hour ago .. awesome movie ! .. cant wait till next one and to read new book, :D

btw in the movie they kind of stressed that in order for one ( harry or V ) to survive, one must die, got me thinking no way v could survive last book and not harry unless both dies

The movie was really good. They glossed over a lot of important stuff from the book, but the last fight scene made up for it.

Su Syob - In the last book, only one of them has to die, not both. If Voldemort lives, that means Harry dies. If Harry lives, Voldemort dies.

I just saw it and I loved it. Imelda Staunton did a great job as Dolores Umbridge, I wanted to smack the shit out of her every second she was on screen! My favorite character though had to be Luna Lovegood, she's loopy but in a good way. And damn, every movie Daniel gets better and better looking!

Personally, I think it's the best Harry Potter film yet!
Extremely enjoyable, and I think they did try hard to cover as much ground as possible.
I got chills many times.
And Helena Bonham Carter = amazing as Bellatrix LeStrange!!!

yeah..love Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange....
The one as Umbridge was good too..

I actually liked it... but my friend hated it....

I went to see it last night at a midnight show, it was GREAT.

Everyone did a really great job, especially the lady who played Umbridge. Luna's character was done really well also.

My only disappointment was that Hermione and Ron weren't prefects, and that they didn't show Hagrid off with the giants. *sad*

It was really awesome though.

"He's back!"

Why'd your friend hate it? Is he one of the people who insists that the movie is a literal translation of the book, and can't stand the movie because X, Y, or Z gets left out? I think that's sort of mental, but other than that, any criticism of the film is pretty petty (assuming one is into the Potter story in the first place).

wells thats going to be expected when this is the shortest potter movie (hears that on TV) while its based off the longest of the books

WHY would you post spoilers to a thread like that?

I didn't read your post and I think it's tacky to post it.

If you wanna post spoilers, make your own thread.

I swear.. some people.

DONT READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU DONT WANT TO HEAR THE ENDING OF DEATHLY HALLOWS
I HAVE READ THE MANUSCRIPT!!!

The last book which is yet to be technically released id by far the best one. Harry finally does the deed with Ginny at the end and Voldemort dies. Harry kills him with the AVADA KEDAVRA curse.

Then at the end in the epilogue.

It is set at Hermiones and Rons wedding. Harry has a son named James Potter, of course he is from Ginny.
oh and Dudley is a wizard and is very interested in Dark Magic.

The ending of the Epilogue is

" Mysteriouse Deaths in Surrey"

Mr and Mrs Vernon Dursley were found last night at their kitchen table dead. It appears as though they were frightened to death. THe only person seen around the residence was the Dursleys son Dudley."

ANd that is the end. It is a wonderful book I am trying to attach the pdf book to my post.

Sorry cant do it cuz it is too big. Just look on torrents for it.

Yea....Im gonna call Bullshit. lol. Go on somewhere.

^ yeah...he said that it left out a lot of things....

It really didn't leave out much at all. I re-read the book just before seeing the movie.

If they were to make a literal translation of these books, the films would be 8 hours long and terrible movies. There is much on the written page that would be boring on the screen.

First, bullshit. The book is under tight security. Second, screw you for doing this. It's just rude. What a sad way to make yourself seem special, and it ruins things for others. Rude, selfish, rude, rude.

Sorry I really am. I didnt mean to piss anybody off. :(

I just figured someone might want to know.

How do I edit posts so I can remove it?

Sorry once again. But you really dont need to be an asshole about it soilwork. You could have just asked for me to take it down or something

At the bottom of your post, there is a button labeled edit. Click on it.

So the edit button isnt there. I think it might have something to do with the fact that someone quoted it. So if he will unquote it I will remove it.

JUST SO YOU KNOW I AM NOT FULL OF SHIT. I uploaded to megaupload. here is the link.

[link removed]

You dont have to read it just look and you will see I am not lying.

Let me get this straight - I'm ignorant because you rudely post spoilers? That makes sense. Buddy, when you act rudely people aren't going to be nice to you. Consequences for bad behavior. I didn't see your post until after I replied. Chill out, and take your medicine.

Why else would be brag about reading the book early if not trying to make everyone go "oh, look at him - he got the book before Stephen King, the cast of the movies, and 99.99% of the people in the publishing world did" if not to make yourself look special? And why are you reacting so violently to someone not believing you?

I'm not clicking the link until after I read the book because I don't want to risk a spoiler. But I wouldn't click it anyway, but I the likelihood that it's the real book is smaller than the offer it would take to download this. The book is under ridiculously tight security. Some joe blow on the street simply is not getting his hands on a copy.

Dude, you have to read the books! There is a lot of richness to the stories that the movies can't capture. They are really easy reads, too - 10 year olds fly through them in a like a couple of days. Even book 5 - the 900 page one.

She is only in the book 6 for a tiny bit. The character is supposedly big in book 7. The promise of lots of screen time in movie 7 is what compelled HBC to take the part - she wasn't sure she wanted to bother with it, given her limited screen time in movie 5. I doubt she'll be in movie 6 - her bit is sure to get written out of the movie.

You know you're going to get the ending of the series spoiled for you before the movie comes out if you don't read, right? I talk openly about the shocker at the end of book 6 - it's fair game to discuss, being the book has been out for 2 years.
