Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I enjoyed OOTP as much as POA, which to me is the highpoint of the series so far so OOTP is my second fave not after that. Sure they left stuff out of it that would have been great for developing the secondary characters - Ron becoming Keeper and the whole Weasley Is Our King with the Quidditch, SPEW, Seamus' contempt for Harry, Neville visiting his parents at the hospital and you meet a now brain idled Lockheart - but for the most part I felt it was a very good film.
I loved the darkness and adult feel of the movie, and how there was very little let up once it hit the ground racing and kept going. They captured the torment of Harry from the get go and got across how lonely and isolated he was as a young man against the world. Those who are complaining about this one being very Harry centric should remember that the book was very much the same and centred mainly on Harry against the school and the MOM, so the film itself was no surprise.
My only curious notice was the the Neville plot line and his relevence to the prophecy was ommited, hence the changing of it once Harry got hold of it in the Department Of Mysteries. Either this means Neville has no true part to play in the final show down or that the film makers just slipped up, but either way it is an interesting ommition on their part.

2 MORE DAYS TILL THE 7TH AND LAST BOOK!!!!!!!!

so who's going to the parties they are gonna throw friday night?

You all do know in the process of killing Voldermort, Harry dies, he does it to save his friends but not b4 Dumbledore makes an amazing recovery from death to lend a hand

^hmmm, that would be the obvious choice of how to end it. so cliche and typical if this were a movie. you forgot the prophecy which kinda ends your spoiler right there. nice try though douchebag

I loved the book and only enjoyed the movie. So many bits are cut out that I thought the film was episodic. I know they had to leave lots out, but I wonder how much someone would have understood if they hadn't read the book.

Umbridge's laugh/voice clearing was very different from the audio book read by Jim Dale.

Well, tonight I may finally get to see "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" :=D: .

My friend :luv2: & I went to the theatre to watch it but I got a bit dizzy :help: and had to leave early so we didn't get to watch much of the movie.

Soooooooo tonight, if I stay awake long enough  , I will finally get to watch the production albeit on DVD,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
