Peto, the reality of the matter is that the movies will stop after the books- there are only 7. The sixth movie is due out within the next six months (I mean, we're about due for another one anyway). The actors will likely be 19-20 and portraying characters 2-3 years younger by the seventh and final movie.

Actually, it's the FIFTH movie due next summer.

They go into production on the sixth before that one comes out.

The Seventh book still has no release date.

Oddly enough, nobody really cares about the ages of the actors but people who don't watch them... let's not forget that only one or two of the cast of Beverly Hills 90210 were teenagers when the show STARED. By the time the show was over, some were in their 30s. Who cares?

Yes, that's true. Look at poor old Danny Bonaduce, who could easily reprise his character of Danny Partridge if so asked. No one would notice.
