I was searching for sailor moon avatars and stmbbled upon an article on an interveiw that Lindsey Lohan gave. She said she had a heard a rumor but wasn't sure on anything. Does anybody know where I can find out if its a rumor or not? :confused:
 
After they made the Live Action show (Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon), they concluded the series with a movie that took place 'one year later'.

The show was hilarious because of its camp, so I imagine the movie was the same. It was fun all around, but nothing that great.
 
Oh man a live Sailor Moon would be so awesome! I remember watching that show in college. I just loved the theme song :) I think it's a great idea but I also think it would be really hard to pull off. Why is it that any movie with a strong female cartoon character is so hard to do?

I love the animated show and the live action. I own them all lol. I thought finding the live acton series was going to be hard, it was so easy! The special that came afterward is years in the future because Ami is a doctor in america. I would totally go and see the live action movie if they did one!(!) :gogirl: ..|
 
The dub sucked/sucks so hard. And as pretty as the season was, SuperS was pretty awful. I also felt like for Stars, theyr eally should have gone all out and made it as serious as S, but they didn't and the animation was as shoddy at times and it always was.

IMO, S was the best. A great story and great characterization. It's too bad they never animated the fourth-tier attacks that the senshi get that they showed in the original S opening.
 
After having found a couple of news links on google about this (just type in Lindsay Lohan Sailor Moon) there was one other thing I read in the articles, which was that it was rumoured that Joss Whedon would write/direct or something. But if it was Fox who had the rights, why would he want to do it, after what happened with Firefly?

Anyways, I'd love to see a live action english Sailor Moon, but I think thats out of a morbid curiousity.
 
OOh, I loved the dubbed Sailor Moon. Terri Hawkes is my favorite Sailor Moon voice, loved her in the Dark crystal, Queen Beryl, bro/sister arc.

Tried watcching Cloverway Sailor Moon and I had to return them. The voices were soo wrong.

She also did the voice of Fanny in Quads! and Princess Sissy in Princess Sissy.

I agree, the voices sucked hard in Colverway, but at least they tried to be more accurate. Michiru and Haruka had pretty good voices, even if Pluto's kind of sucked as did Ami's and Minako. And I hate Sugar as Chibiusa, even if it is rather equal to the dub.

They haven't released Sailorstars on TV yet, though apparently it's out there already. I'd love to see how they handle the whole thing with the Starlights.

I bought all of the English manga (which were really shoddy) and had all of the Japanese manga, some Chinese versions, a huge load of the dolls, a few wall scrolls, the movies, some japanese videos, taped laserdisc episodes dubbed in Cantonese, the entire first season and stars dubbed in cantonese on VCD, some figurines, cards, and some of those sailormoon world children's books and the season guides.

Super queer. ;)

But still, sometimes I get flashbacks of how great it was.

IMO, the end of season 1 is the best one there. Kick ass.
 
I am such a big fan of Sailor Moon. I heard about that rumor on another website and many fans did not like the idea of Lindsay Lohan as sailor moon, and as for the movie Fox has the rights for the live action movie there might be a movie in the works or not. But then again you never know with these Hollywood studios they will do anything for money.

I dont know. If they make a sailor moon movie Im not sure if I would be okay with Lindsey lohan as Usagi. Besides they said that it was going to be and adaptation. So it might not be exactly like the anime or manga. Some screen writer who knows nothing about sailor moon will rip it to shreds...:cry:
 
BTW, Which senshi does everyone like? I LOOOOOVE Sailor Mercury! I cant find any gifs of her for my avatar. When My friends and I would RP sailor moon I got to be Ami-chan! :D
 
I used to watch the show a long time ago because I loved the love story with the villian and one of the friends of Sailor Moon.
