Has anyone ever been to Comic Con or anything similar ?

I went to one in Philly years ago i thought it was alright it wasn't my type of thing. It was pretty expensive to take pictures with c lister celebs.

First of all, put on the costume and show it off to us!

I have not been to a Comic-con but 25 years ago, I went to a Sci-FI convention held each spring in Denver, Co. That is about a 3 hour drive for me. I spent 2 days there. It was fun and I spent a few bucks in the vendor area of collectiables and photos. I paid to get my photo and autograph with one of the Star Trek Voyager main characters. It is still held each spring www.starfestdenver.com.

There is a Comic-con held each year in Salina, Kansas which is about 3 hours in the opposite direction from me. It's only been in operation for 3 years or so. I hear it is till growing. I might go to it this summer.
